App limitations vs website
Not sure why the app limits visibility to some things. For example, I have 2 kids and niece and nephew in camp. I was granted permissions to write emails to my niece/nephew, and view pictures they were tagged in. I can do all this in the website (although it’s very slow to load). But in the app, I can only email and see tagged pictures of MY kids.
This is annoying for myself, as well as other friends/family members. The app is worthless for grandparents or anyone that is not a DIRECT parent. They would not have access to email or see tagged pictures.
Please update the permissions/visibility to mimic the website!

Coping of missing my child
Great- truly helped with my coping of my missing child. Recommended 👍
Letters can’t be send
The keyboard suggestion words cover the send button. This is total lack of testing
High quality downloads
The images downloaded are much higher resolution than the other apps I’ve used. Probably the most important feature for me!
Good in theory, leaves something to be desired
The AI photo search isn’t really that great. Also, the app should just have the email updates within it, instead of making you leave the app to sign into a different website
Difficult with multiple camps
It’s been very glitchy lately and signs me out constantly. When it works it’s great, it has great facial recognition. One issue is if you have kids at multiple camps it’s very cumbersome to switch back and forth.

This app is great to use, very user friendly and I love the facial recognition. That is for sure the best part. Amazing how accurate it is.

This app was so easy to use! It did an amazing job recognizing my child’s face to find her photos. I had 0 issues with navigating, starring, and downloading my child’s camp photos!!
My heart has been joyful
While my kids have been in camp I’ve felt 100% connected through Campanion.
I’ve read blog posts, daily updates, seen hundreds of photos and my kids get tagged because it recognizes their faces. So it’s the first thing I see before navigating the full posted albums.

This app is wonderful. Being able to get notifications and see pictures of all the fun going on keeps me connected. The letter-writing function is really nice.

Keeps crashing
Just downloaded to see my kids at camp and it keeps crashing. I’ve had to delete and reinstall 4 times now. It also won’t let me buy a season pass. Very frustrating. The camp used to use Bunk1, which was fine.

This app is so fun and does a great job of grabbing the right shots!
Awesome app
This app has been with our family for five years of camp. We’ve been able to see the excitement of each day, while feeling safe because we have some tabs on our kid. The excitement in the campers’ faces brings a lot of joy, especially because when they return home, their descriptions are far from detailed, lol. Thanks for making this app and allowing us to be on the camp journey with the kids!
