Huge Time Saver
I love this new app! I discovered it when I started planning our camping trips for this summer. It’s been such a huger time saver being able to do a single search to check for available campsites across all the big booking sites.
Also, love how simple and straightforward it is to use. (Also love the bananas!)
It would be great to be able to save or favorite campgrounds — I’ve discovered some new ones that I want to come back to for a later trip.
Excited to see where things go with the app! Off to a great start so far.

Best app for camping
Finally I can see what’s available! This is the best app for camping period. It shows you all availability across all types. I can see private land as well as national parks. Easy to navigate and understand, it makes booking the right spot for the right dates a breeze. Highly recommend, it’s the only camping app you need. Definitely worth it!

A solid improvement to the booking game
Camp Chimp has been therapy for my love / hate relationship with planning and booking campsites. Always excited for the next trip, but I hate booking. I used to have several apps open at once - checking each. If my preferred dates or campground weren’t available I would have to change the date and check again on all the apps. I don’t know why it has taken so long for a company to recognize this non-sense needed to change, but I’m glad they did!

Best Camping search app
This is the best search app out there! No more frustration with blackout dates you simply put your dates in and it shows you open availability. It’s so much easier to plan trips when using Camp Chimp. The journal feature is the best. It really keeps track of each trip, and easy to reference the best spots when returning to a campsite. Camp Chimp is all you need for finding availability on your next adventure!

Game-Changer for Finding Campsites!
CampChimp has completely changed how I search for available campsites. The interface is clean and user-friendly, and it saves me a ton of time by pulling listings from multiple sources into one place. One of my favorite features is being able to zoom into a map area and simply tap “Search This Area”—so intuitive and efficient.
If you’re frustrated with how time-consuming it can be to find a campsite, this app is an absolute must-have. Highly recommend it to any outdoor enthusiast!

Loving this app
Very happy to find an app that makes it easier to find reservations. Campgrounds are so crowded these days and this makes it easier to find open sites. It’s going to be a good season!
Not What it Says it will be
I downloaded and searched for an RV site for a specific date range, all it did was go find camping style Airbnb listings and those were my results, there is no filters to search for RV rather than tent camping and even don’t have me existing spots to either stay in an existing tent or bring one none of the results were from actual campgrounds! Dumb app/ Don’t waste your time!

Cuts out the headache of finding available campsites so you can actually enjoy camping. Just zoom in on the map where you want to go, pop in a date and it’ll tell you what’s available. You can go and make your reservation from there.

Finally a way to just *search* for campsites like you would hotel reservations. I literally can’t wait for this summer. Imagine getting off work early on a Wednesday night, quick search for a camp site, 45 minutes late you’re in nature for the night.
It’s Like Expedia For Camping!!
As an early adopter of new products and services and apps I think that CampChimp has taken the highly fractured and discombobulated process of camping reservations and streamlined it into an easy to use and streamlined app.
It is truly as simple as using Apple or Google Maps. Just type in the region of the country you want to camp in and the dates you would like to camp and instantly you see the best of the best options.
The results are not limited to any one type of camping like federal campgrounds, but rather it includes those plus private land camping sites, RV parks, etc.
Right on the app you can quickly see the 5 to 25 options around your geographical point of interest, see reviews, see images of the sites, amenities, etc. It simply boils down what matters to its most absorbable form.
You then book your final camping reservation right within the app on the source of the listings checkout process. It is just like Expedia in the early days looking at all flights and booking your travel.
As the evolution of apps continues we as consumers are looking for apps that truly simplify our lives, add value to us, and save us time and money or assisted us in achieving a goal. CampChimp will easily do this for us at $29.99 a year.

Finally a Camping App I Need
I’ve always wondered why other camping apps don’t show availability from multiple platforms. It makes it so much easier to search in one place for all open campsites for specific dates. Now finding reservations even during peak season is quick and easy!
