What's New in Campsite Sniper

1.1.9

September 20, 2026

Faster launch, and a map that behaves. • The app reaches a usable map noticeably faster, and opens on your area instead of jumping there a moment later. • Dark mode now dims the map itself, not just the panels around it. • Filters clearly show what's applied, and the controls no longer sit under the home indicator. • Long park and campground names display in full instead of being cut off. • Better support for larger text sizes and VoiceOver, with bigger tap targets throughout. Fixed • The map could stop following pin taps and search results after changing appearance or map layer. • Opening an alert from a watch could fail to load. • Photos kept their place when rotating or resizing.

User reviews

Awesome!

Being able to filter my state for the specific type of campground I’m looking for is a game changer!

Great app!

I LOVE that you can see all the campsites around and their availability. Definitely using this from now on.

9/9 recommend

The app is great! It’s made finding new campgrounds last minute incredibly manageable. Instead of searching for campsites in my area, I’m able to search for campgrounds that fit my rv (22 feet long) and my dates and it’ll automatically show which campgrounds have spots that my rig will fit in! It really makes this easier and removes the guessing of if my rig will fit. I just wish it showed photos of the campsite in the app
