The most boring game

The game was really boring and would not stop asking questions

Feels like a prototype

I discovered this game through a keyword search and was surprised to see it was developed by the folks behind quite a few pretty similar cat-themed management sim type games.

This appears to be the only game in its style that this studio has ever produced, and it launched two weeks ago as of writing and has no reviews, so I thought I’d write one. Currently the game feels like a prototype: only two relationship levels, very basic gameplay that involves selecting the “right” answer for a variety of love interests, AI-generated character portraits where the icon doesn’t always match the full face, and dialogue that, while definitely not AI-written (thank goodness) is translated oddly in places. At the start, you pick male or female and it seems that picking male means only female love interests and picking female means only male love interests. Playing as a male, I noticed a few he/him pronouns on a few questions referring to a female love interests, which makes me think that the love interests are from the same pool, just genderbent, and that some of the male descriptions made it through.

There’s no way to select your own appearance.

I’m hopeful that getting more eyes on the game could drive changes and improvements. Improvements I’d like to see:
Unlockable CGs of characters
Choice of gender of love interests
Choice of appearance of protagonist
Better translation/more fluent writing for dialogue
Ability to change name and/or gender after initial selection
Maybe some kind of further visual novel element?
