About
Campus Park helps students find parking near the James Madison University campus in Harrisonburg, Virginia rather than circling a full lot for twenty minutes.
LIVE DECK COUNTS
Open the app and see how many spaces are free in each campus parking deck, straight from the university's public parking feed. No searching, no tapping through — the counts are on the first screen.
PARK CLOSE TO WHERE YOU'RE GOING
Search for any campus building and get the closest lots ranked by walking distance, with the parking types you're allowed to use.
Filter for commuter, resident, faculty/staff, or decks, and the map and list both follow.
A MAP THAT KNOWS THE LOTS
Every campus lot is drawn to its real shape, color-coded by how full it is.
Tap one for its type, its hours, and directions in Apple Maps, Google Maps or Waze.
AVAILABILITY FOR LOTS NOBODY REPORTS ON
Most lots have no live data at all. Campus Park fills that in from students who are actually there: a quick "how full is it?" from someone standing in the lot, shared anonymously with everyone else looking. Reports only count from at the lot, so what you see reflects the lot as it is now.
OPTIONAL, IF YOU WANT IT
Claim a username to earn Parking Points for reporting, build a streak, and see where you land on the weekly board. Or don't — everything above works with no account, no email, and no sign-in.
