Subscription not working
Subscription isn’t working and I now can’t add visited pubs.

I subscribed in 2025 but my subscription seems to have expired and subscriptions are ‘temporarily unavailable’ so I can’t use the app.
The Ap is OK but could be so much better, the searches are very basic.
I won’t bother renewing in 2026.

Never updated
This app is really useful and has guided me to loads of new bars, however it’s not been updated in years. This could be such an awesome resource in helping pubs find new customers and broadening the appeal of real ale. If anyone in CAMRA is reading this, please bring this app back up to date, it’s a win - win.

Worcester drinker
I have to say that as a paid-up member of Camra I feel aggrieved at being asked to pay extra for the features on the app. Leaves a sour taste like an end- of-barrel pint. Not good. Should be a free app for members.

Now a bit pointless
Sadly, since the most recent renewal of my subscription the app only works on WiFi. Yes I’ve checked my device settings.
Now I need to find a pub with WiFi in order to find out whether it’s worth visiting.
In an attempt to rectify the situation, I deleted the app but there was then no way to attach my subscription.
A pity, when it worked the app was helpful.

Dreadful app!
Bloody useless and compromised by major POBs!

I have had this app for years now. My bug bear is that it never updates. Most of the newer beers aren’t on there and there are so many old beers which are not brewed anymore still on there.
Views of an ale hunter
The guide is excellent as a reference across the U.K. to all and CAMRA pubs. The only frustration is that there are quite a few pubs out there for whom the reviews are out of date by some considerable time.
Great App but could be even better
Love this App and it is invaluable when visiting somewhere I’m not familiar with. My only bugbear is with the map view. When you enter the map view from a search, move to a new location and search again when you re-enter the list view you see the pubs from your original search location - really annoying 🤯

Handy, but can’t subscribe
The app has limited functionality unless you buy a subscription, but if you try to buy a subscription, it will not tell you the price and if you go ahead, we’ll just crash. So yes, it will find you a handful of pubs where you are, but otherwise crippled.
Illogical app
I recently found that the app logged me out having subscribed and it won’t let me or even tell me how much a subscription costs. After three attempts it kept crashing. Not good.

1.5.0 won’t load
When I open the app it just spins. Connected to WiFi and internet, so no excuse. This used to be a good resource, but now it’s a waste of space.
Very useful but buggy
Great app for finding pubs and breweries. Because breweries often change brews it can be a bit out of date when looking for a particular beer. Main criticism is that its quite buggy and prone to returning errors, and on an iphone the back button is displayed under the time which means it wont work so you have to close and reopen the app each time.

Doesn’t recognise subscription
I had a rolling annual subscription for the app (iPhone), but the app has refused to recognise that I had paid for it, so only got “free” features. I just got the subscription renewal reminder for next month - so I’ve cancelled it. Why pay for something it won’t let you use???
App no longer being updated
CAMRA have replaced this App with a web based version available directly from them. This App is no longer being supported, so will be out of date.

Paid for a subscription. Now stuck with “an unrecoverable error has occurred…”. Restarting app does not help. So even free features not available.
