I want to create an account so I can watch season 18 of heartland but apparently because I don’t have a ZIP Code for Canada, I can’t have an account , guess I’ll have to wait till season 18 comes out on UP Faith & Family

Some channels are not available in separate countries. Unfortunately, geolocation restrictions do not depend of app - it depends of the content owners. We recommend you to change App Store to your local one

Doesn’t work

Like the other reviewer said, there’s no way around the pop-up to download the CBC GEM app which I am unable to do even with a VPN set to Canada. I uninstalled this app.

Only appears to work, it really doesn’t

Every time I try to watch something, I get a pop up that it would work better in the CBC Gem app. Unfortunately the link to get the app doesn’t work nor does the option to continue watching with the browser work. There doesn’t appear to be any way to get past the pop up. Very annoying. I uninstalled it

Very good

I get cpac and information about the provincial government. Also there is some channels to watch. You people don’t like Country music and Christian programming. It is nice to have CHCH again.

I’m in America, I’ve downloaded the app but when I select CBC it says not available outside Canada. There are programs I’d like to watch and can’t

Worst App ever

Choppy and lags even with broadband high speed internet. It’s archaic in feel and truly belongs in the early 2000’s. Simply awful and equally painful.

Don’t bother

Just a bunch of links to the associated network sites, nearly all do not work. I don’t need an app to access these websites.

Only a few of all links are Canadian. Developer says updates will have more channels... but the app is already called “Canadian Television”!

And if many of the don’t work anyway, what’s the point?
