Thanks for your feedback. We understand how important notifications for subfolders are, and we appreciate the suggestion. We'll share this with our team as a feature request to improve the experience.
Please add grouping notification
On iOS, some mail clients group notifications by sender, so emails from the same person or company are neatly organized into separate notification stacks. In Canary, all email notifications are grouped together into a single stack, which quickly becomes difficult to navigate when many emails arrive.
It would be great if Canary could support grouping notifications by sender (or at least provide it as an option). This small change would make managing incoming emails much more convenient.
Thanks! :)

Thank you for the thoughtful feedback and for the kind words! We're glad you're enjoying Canary. Grouping notifications by sender is a great suggestion, and we can see how it would make managing busy inboxes much easier. We'll share this with our product team for consideration in a future update. We really appreciate you taking the time to share your idea!
Great when it works
И оно такое надо?!

Lots of Wasted Space in the iPad Version!
Looks great. But slow iPad support
Fantastic E-Mail Client
Seriously legit!
Slow and unreliable on iPad
The main problem is performance: the app can take up to around 30 seconds to open properly, even when it was already open and I only switched briefly to another app. Spark and Apple Mail open almost instantly in the same situation.
I’ve also had issues with message deletion not completing in the background, with Canary asking me to reopen the app to continue deleting messages. Sometimes message bodies have failed to display until I killed and reopened the app.
The app has some good ideas, but for everyday email on iPad it feels too slow and unreliable for a paid annual subscription.

Not Free!!
Great app, but...
The pros:
No ads, normal features aren't locked behind a paywall, and it blocks trackers!!! The app functions just as smoothly as gmail, possibly smoother than outlook (which isn't hard to beat), and the interface is very intuitive.
Cons:
AI. AI everywhere. I'm sure that's not a problem for the ai bros, but as someone who actually cares about taking the time to do things myself and keep a functional brain, all I want is a button to turn off the ai stuff. I don't want to see "summarize with ai" every time I open a message from someone.
Final rating:
8/10
Keeps crashing
Visually confusing
Great Switch, excellent mail client
Does not work
UX design sucks
It’s hard for me to keep this app as my daily driver — the design sucks. It’s a shame because I have lifetime subscription.
Grear
Frustratingly good and bad
iPhone version has massive text at the top of the inbox which is an utter waste of space.
When changing the sending email address in compose, the drop down has hardly any space to show your address efficiently if you have more than two address or down have an iPhone Max.
iPad buttons at the top and all messed up and pushes the usable area down, looks amateurish and again wastes so much space.
This app is so close the great, yet seems to handicap itself constantly.
Overall it’s a fantastic email app and closest competitor to Spark. It’s just needs some polish and better testing.
