Good app with responsive developer
Originally I had given this app one star because I wasn’t able to create an account. The developer fixed that problem promptly. I haven’t paid yet, but I have been enjoying the free daily songs since July. This is a great way to be exposed to new music in French and build some vocabulary while doing so!

Fun to learn through music
I’m new to Canary, but I’ve been enjoying it so far. It’s a fun concept for people who like both music and language learning, and it makes practicing feel a little less like studying.
I especially like the Fly game and the way the app lets you interact with songs instead of just listening passively. I’d definitely be interested in seeing more songs, artists, languages, and games added over time.
Overall, it’s a really cool way to practice a language through music, and I’m curious to see what’s next :)

Brilliant Idea
This is a good way to learn language, especially when you love music and enjoy practising with people.
Needs work
Downloaded for Japanese, been trying it out for three days but the lyrics are all over the place. In the weekly challenge songs, the lyrics are always at least a whole line ahead of the recording, so you’re not actually tracking what you’re hearing. In the regular listening section, there’s constantly words and lines missing. The last one had three whole lines missing, that’s when I gave up on the app. Great idea but needs improvement.
