Second Owners Can’t Register!

I purchase a 2015 GW- I entered the Hull ID - and all rest.
The App said I had the wrong phone and email - because it was looking for the previous guys registered info.

How dumb is this? Boats change hands every day…..

Not worthy of the Grady name

Grady White boats are top notch when it comes to quality. This app is not. I foolishly maintained my trip and maintenance logs in this app the past 6 years. I lost the data once after my first year and luckily recovered most of it in a backup log I had done manually. I thought they would’ve updated the app since. I always backup my phone and thought that I’d be ok with that backup if there wasn’t data uploaded to the cloud. I was wrong. I upgraded my phone in January and had taken a full backup of my iPhone X and restored the data from that backup to me phone assuming all would be good. Nope. This week I brought up the app to begin my boating season and learned my data is not there. I’m highly disappointed as I used that data to look back on memories as well as sea conditions based on weather as well as maintenance and fuel logs. I’m working to see if I can somehow extract the data from that old backup but not sure it’ll work. I’ll be building my own app as we Grady owners and boaters in general deserve better.

Lastly, the review of 5 stars is from the app developer, tweddl. Discard that!

Grady is much, much better at boats than apps

This app.. 1-2

I kept all my maintenance logs in this app but they are not backed up to the cloud. When you loose your phone you will loose your logs. Use office excel or google docs for maintenance.

Pathetic

You have to register. Requires the hull ID. Fine. I put in my hull id. App reported "Invalid ID." No, it wasn't. Really. So done.

Edit: If your boat is older than 2012, you don't exist.
