iOS Syncing Issues
I’ve been unable to sync my library with the iOS app for the past three days. The app continuously attempts to load my content but without success. Hoping for a fix soon.
Kinda dumb
Looks great upfront but what they dont tell you is that to take pictures of a text like a book you need to pay money. Bull.

i love this app so much, i use it religiously everyday, but a few days ago it totally stopped working :( it won’t let me add any form of ebook or article. i tried uninstalling and reinstalling, getting a new account, etc, but nothing’s working. i hope it’s just a problem on my end i can resolve, but it’s really bringing me down.
also, whenever i tried to purchase the premium plan, it wouldn’t load fully. i’m not sure how to fix that either. a few times i’ve added too many ebooks and it starts to stop working as well. that’s why i’m giving 4* instead of 5*.
love this app! i wish i could support the amazing developers through the monthly subscription, but i might need to start using another app if this doesn’t resolve itself.

Crashing while opening app
I've been using Capti for a while and it's amazing! I love being able to listen to my books while on the go. However, recently whenever I attempt to open the app it lingers on the blue Capti screen before crashing. Before this began happening I was unable to upload new documents, and the synchronizing feature was bugged.

Buggy
The UI has gotten better but it’s still buggy. The TTS would randomly stop sometimes and I might even have to reboot my phone to fix it.
So disappointing
I’m so disappointed, this app is a scam and does not work properly, I want my Money ASAP
Garbage app
I paid then uploaded my documents to play and they won’t load…. The one document that does play has such a boring voice that it’ll just put me to sleep!
Good so far
I see some people complaining, but I used it to read three papers for me so far. All free. Just don’t click on that extra ocr thing. For a free app, I think it works well. I am going to do free trial period and see if it’s worth it. The price is much better than other similar apps. I haven’t tried uploading whole books though. That might be a problem with the free version.

Good once you learn how to use it
It took me some time to work out how to get the most out of this app, but these days I would not be without it. The free version works fairly well, as long as you are prepared to work with rtf files and are prepared to pay money for the best reading voice. I use this app to read books to me for my PhD and to read back student essays while I’m marking them. Many other uses. Well recommended.

It just works!
I’ve had a lot of bad experiences with buggy text readers, but Capti just works and works well. I don’t use a lot of the fancy features of it, mostly just copy and paste to create something to read, but I like the built-in voice options. No need for high priced “celebrity” voices!
Greedy app..
You have to pay for the app then pay coins to have it read to you. I have ADHD and I struggle to read.. thanks for being slimy. If I could get my money back I would I’m actually sad I wasted it on this crap app.. I could have bought McDonald’s with that and be more happy..
Used to be decent
But now it's junk status. It used to be pretty good I remember. You basically have to pay for this otherwise not useable. It's a freeware trick to cone you to download. Website gives you tts okay but you can't download only if the files you generate no matter how much you decide to give the money whether here or online.

Paid for premium
I needed premium service so I could import .pdf’s from one drive for listening while driving. My paid subscription went through and I’m able to see confirmation in my Apple ID Subscriptions. Yet every time I try to import I get a message that in need Premium service, even though, I already paid for and subscribed to the service. I sent an email to the company with the picture of then message along with confirmation of my Apple ID subscription receipt. It was a while before I received a response. When I did I was told that they only have one tech support person who isn’t available. I asked when they would be available so I could get this resolved. They said in about a week. When I followed up they told me my info was submitted. I asked what the resolution is and they told me they don’t know and I could request a refund through Apple if necessary. I told them I would rather get the issue resolved. That was a month ago and now they just ignore me. What an absolute garbage app and garbage support.

UX problems
Have capti on iPod touch for my son. Can’t connect to bookshare because keyboard covers the login/submit button, and can’t hide keyboard. Works fine on larger screens. It’s the little things.

Doesn’t work
Not only does it not work to convert written text to speech, it double charges you in terms of Capti coins and a premium membership.
Second best
This is the best alternative I've found to Speechify thus far and I'm quite pleased. Capri's UI isn't as clean and it doesn't have many free voices to choose from but all the other necessary features are there. I do find the lack of voices to choose from a bit disappointing since the ones available are inferior in quality. I find them more robotic in comparison to other apps, which is quite distracting.

What a waste of money! This app doesn’t work and I ended my subscription.
