Error
Every time i try and edit a video using AI, which is why people buy this app. It says connection error try again.
STUPID APP UGHH
WILL NOT ALLOW ME MOVE MY TEXTS INDIVIDUALLY . I TRIED USING THE KEYFRAME MOVED THE TEXTS AS BEST AS I COULD - AND THEN MOVES BACK THE ONES I ALREADY EDITED ??? I CANNOT EVEN EDIT THE SENTENCES TOGETHER SO THEY OVERLAP - OVERALL SO LIMITED ITS FRUSTRATING AND TAKING LONGER TO EDIT ???!
I was scammed
If I hadn’t deleted my account , I would have requested a refund , I paid for a full month and barely used it for a day and I was asked to get for points ….a do not waste your money

Can takes upwards of 10 minutes because when you add captions it does a bunch of ai edits by itself and you can't stop it- makes it take 5x longer than it should. And then when you finally finish you can't save it without paying $40 . Genuinely a joke.

So I downloaded the app and I wanted it to ai edit my video so I pressed AI edit imported the video and al it did was ad captions

I subscribed to the ‘Max’ package this week. Super excited. I uploaded my voice several times for my Ai twin and sounded nothing like me. I even tried added a clip of my voice which I’m happy with from eleven labs. And it wasn’t excepted?
I loved everything else about the app. My Ai twin looked great. I love the captions. However…
All the credits of my ‘Max’ subscription was used up on trying to upload my voice. The voice sounded nothing like me and the voice upload feature would not except my external voice recording (made on eleven labs)
Then I was told all my credits have been used.
Im disappointed that I’m now not able to get on with my work…..
I Reached out to customer services and my option were 1. Wait till my next credits renew (a month away) or upgrade my subscription to ‘scale’. I feel using credits whilst familiarising myself and features not delivering as advertised is unreasonable.
customer services told me they cannot give me any credits back. ‘The system doesn’t allow this’. I have cancelled my subscription and put a claim into App Store under the basis the app does not work as advertised. My closing comments here is it’s ironic that I was given a ‘computer says no’ answer from a company that claims to be a Ai pioneer. Which resulted in me canceling my subscription. Stay clear of this app, unless you’re prepared to subscribe to the ‘scale x3 package £299 per month’ they have over promised on their ads and will not help you if you reach out. Daylight robbery.

Scam!
Worse company! Even if you cancel your subscription through your Apple settings, they will bill you within the app indefinitely!
Research Other Apps!!! This is app is greedy.
The app is user friendly but using credits to create things when I’m already paying a monthly subscription is greedy and feels like a scam. If you plan on creating multiple videos, be prepared to spend a lot of money. I don’t see the point of an expensive monthly subscription then being limited to a very amount of credits!

Terrible experience
I receive a refund for my subscription. Thank you!! Unfortunately i still feel same way about the ai features but honestly this is a problem with ai across the board. All they change the reference picture you insert with some mock ai photos. I don’t understand why you do this if i upload my own reference photos and then i have to go in and adjust every photo manually. I can do this myself in canva or capcut if that’s the case. I was expecting them to come up with cool power point style videos to a already existing video, moving captions around and thing like that. The first video i created came out great. Then i bought the program because it only allows you to make one video. Next thing i know, i noticed every edit was completely the same as the last even when prompted with new information and material. Maybe there’s some pro features that I’m not aware of but it shouldn’t be that difficult to cut and chop a few pieces of a video with captions and clever popups. The free version should be a lot more user friendly. Atleast you could let me download my video and then put certain features on the pro plan like capcut does. They force you to buy the whole program just to see if the ai can make a better video, etc just for credits that will run out because the AI will keep making the same version of the ai “art” which is completely noticeable and if it’s a human they will replace you with some white man or women etc. even if you upload your own content they will still replace it until you run out of credits and have to buy the subscription. That’s a scam man. You know ai sucks and if you don’t prompt it correctly it will time itself out. Not a fan but i may give it another attempt with prompts specifically geared for ai from google or something. User friendly means that i shouldn’t have to do all this. It should understand that i want the same video and images just chopped up in a creative way.

Good asset to USE FOR BETTER BLESSINGS…
Not as glamorous as videos
I wanted to love this as the ads I saw made it look quick and easy. It was frustrating to not be able to do simple edits such as cropping my video or editing the position of the video in frame. When using the AI tools with multiple videos uploaded it would make the edits to all videos instead of only the video selected at that time. I tried the AI auto edit with a description of what I wanted done to the video, it never completed an edit, there was also some error. Typically there wasn’t enough “talking” in the video to edit it. I’m sure it is a great app but having control of more basic feature would help eliminate the need for multiple editing apps. Also wish there was a trial period vs being forced to spend $50 right away.

Please Fix This App ASAP
For the longest time, I’ve been a fan of this app. However, starting like a week ago, it has become impossibly annoying to use. It lags, crashes on its own at times, and ultimately the UX is painfully glitchy now. Idk what the devs did to this app, but please revert it to how smooth it worked before because it is SO bad now.

The Best
In the last 5 yrs I’ve tried half a doz dif video programs/apps and Captions is the best. Not by a little by a lot.
It does a great job
You need to pay to use it. There is no testing it out. You want a video you need to pay.

Garbage App Honestly
I had high hopes for this app. But if you’re trying to do videos any longer than 3 minutes it’s trash and doesn’t work at all. Incredibly slow, AI features don’t work at all. Don’t waste your money like I did.

I’ve put in a video and make it look cool and they didn’t add anything then I’ve told the ai to edit it still it did not edit it. 1 star do not get!!!
Poor support
I have annual subscription. The new email security verification feature is not letting me in. Support BOT and human support are unable resolve the issue from their end. I wasted the afternoon with the CAPTIONS support team. They can’t resolve this simple issue! I regret subscribing this app.

I paid for a subscription and purchased credits, assuming that the credits I paid for would remain available even if I later canceled the subscription.
Unfortunately, that’s not how this app works. Once you cancel, they take away access to the credits you already paid for unless you continue paying for the subscription.
That’s extremely misleading, and I’m requesting a refund through my bank.
