This App is Hot Garbage.
Got this App because it was one of the only ones that work with this X Ranger Watch I just got.
Setting it up was okay. It goes downhill fast after that.
Virtually no way of programming the watch via this app. Other watch apps let me program alarms from the app. Not this one.
It doesn’t track my sleep well. Somehow it assumes I go to sleep at 11:00pm when, in reality, I go to sleep much earlier because of my early wake schedule.
The interface is garish, ugly white and unintuitive. It’s as is this was made in 2002 and never updated. Can’t really change it either.
The watch face selection is childish and unimaginative for the most part. This is supposed to be a tactical smartwatch. I want tactical smartwatch faces.
As far as this reviewer is concerned, this app was made as an afterthought just to get out the door to support a planned obsolescence watch.

Bad smart watch
Got your watch for my birthday. Difficult to set up, now it doesn’t synchronize anymore. Going to return it to Amazon. I thought I was going to like this. Too many problems syncing.

Has to be the worst thing I’ve ever owned. The app and watch always disconnect from each other and it always will delete the work out you just did. Save your money.
Best Yet
Bought the Blaze. This is my fourth smartwatch. It is the first one with a screen that is bright, sharp and crisp and has the most features. Price is right in there with the rest of theme,but you get what you pay for and in this case you get even more. Extremely satisfied. VR, Mags
Time for a firmware update
It’s been 9 months since the app has been updated. It has sync issues among other things. When is the next update coming
Sync Issues with IOS
Love the watch itself, but have to refresh several times a day for it to function properly. I’m an operator for a fiber optic company. I miss several calls/texts/notifications throughout the day.
Eh, could be worse
Translations are god awful, but most of the time you can tell what’s attempted. Does what I need, display is a bit on the larger side (fine with me, more room), and when you get past the wallpaper of a man fishing translating over to, “pole dancing” then there aren’t too many issues.

Fix the sync issues
Not all dayt syncs with apple health, especially the sleep data, i have all permissions on and set up correctly, please fix the sync issues, other than that this watch itslef is amazing
Glitchy website when ordering
I ordered a watch and the web site glitched so tried again and confirmed my order with the extra gifts but I got a tremendous charge on my credit card. I realized the problem when I received 3 watches and extras in the mail. I need someone from Carbinox to get in touch with me for how to refund my two extra watch kits. Other than that,,the watch (though bigger and heavier than I prefer connected with my cell and alerts me to calls, has good medical info through the app (bp, heart rate snd sleep cycle tracking) and best of all has tremendous battery life. First charge lasted about 11-12 days before it indicated low battery at around 28%. That is wearing watch 24-7 except for showers. It also charged up to 99% after only about 3-4 hours on its charger so that’s really good I feel. Pls have customer support contact me about returning my unwanted watches and I’ll update my review…

This app is garbage
Don’t waste your time and money thinking this will work with your iPhone. Never wants to sync. Software has never been updated in the year plus since I got the watch. It’s straight up trash. I regret buying their watch.

Less than a month and it loses dials, Bluetooth and just kind of does what it wants when it want. Text and phone calls along with a h find phone and devise all work pretty consistently well in my experience so far. Love the style and I loved the dial and resting face I had for a week or so and I’ve already beat the hell outta mine working and riding and it’s help up perfectly

Bought it in June. Difficult to set up, got it working, then after 4 months, screen doesn’t work buttons do not work, but I’m outside the 45 day replacement warranty so they said, “Sorry … you can order another one” NOPE

Update app to sync heart rate with Apple Health
I really don’t have any complaints with my Blaze R except 1. Right now the app won’t push/sync heart rate data with Apple Health. This is a key thing I use my watch for and there’s just no way to get the data from the watch. Either push the data over to Apple Health or allow it to be exported directly from the Carbinox app, please!

No notifications
I have had the vortex for 2wks and it’s not working. Stopped receiving message notifications and will not connect to my phone. Tried reaching out for help on the app and it won’t even send in the message. Probably will need to return the watch and purchase a different brand.

I had to send my 1st watch back. Received a 2nd Oct. 1, 2025. It stopped working on October 7, 2025. Now the company will not answer my emails. Don’t buy these watches.

Let’s be honest unless you actually have a galaxy watch or an Apple Watch all the other watches don’t really compare to the compatibility and the functions and the communication with your phone.
Keeping that in mind I’ve had other non-Apple watches and this is the best by far! It does everything I want it to do and even more. It tracks my calories, tracks my sleep, tracks my workout, track my heart rate and tells me what level of heart rate during the workout. How much of the heart rate was anaerobic, aerobic, fat burning, and warm up. It even tells me my blood pressure which it does state that it’s not an actual accurate reading shouldn’t be taken as a real medical diagnosis reading, but it’s a ballpark. For the price you can’t beat it and the durability. I never take this watch off unless I’m charging swimming, showering, working out and working. And I work in Security so it can get a little handsy and a lot of tussling and wrestling. It’s a good buy.
