Great game ๐Ÿ‘

Fun to play tactical

Needs more to inprove

Needs a better way of moving around and seeing the complete board of the game, also add more information into the game

Glitchy

I found the game a bit boring to begin with. Just tried to continue my play through and was dropped into 2-1 with no monsters and no way to continue. Choosing restart trashed my game and put me back at 1-1.

Not Enough Cards

Can only take or discard cards should be able to keep some of the cards you find as in some games you get a lot of monsters and get no weapon cards. Can not save game or re-spawn just start again a bit crap. The game could be a really good game if it was more balanced and give you a better chance to progress in the game instead of making it boring having to keep re-starting every time you get killed off maybe introduce a three lives and you are out system to make it more interesting, needs more work.

Last update three years ago.

Devs stopped working on the iOS version (Pc) has always been better, but it is very pay to win. And not very fun.

Not maintained?

I really enjoyed this game for a few days. Beautiful style and humorous theme. However, I encountered a bug where the level complete portal would spawn in an inaccessible place. This happened multiple times. Very frustrating because you then have to restart your entire game.

Additionally, the integrated game recording library they use, Everyplay has been shutdown for over three months. Looking at the version history form this game, it does not appear to have been updated in a couple of years.

I think this game may be a zombie itself.

Fun well balanced game

Pros: This game is fun and visually cool if you like a table top style dungeon crawler. Every level is randomly generated so it keeps it from getting boring in that way. Lots of cool cards to choose from. Different styles of game play and cards allow you to create your own strategy. New creatures and bosses on each level keep it exciting and interesting. It also has a unique sense of humor. Overall I definitely recommend this game. 4 STARS!

Cons: The AI of the enemyโ€™s is pretty weak, so in this way itโ€™s easy to let enemyโ€™s fall into obvious traps. Also not much complexity in the way that a lava monster can also be killed by a lava based attack. The game is challenging to start but quickly becomes too easy once you master the right card choices. It would have been a more rewarding game if there was some rewards systems in place, like getting medals or badges for clearing all the rooms of enemyโ€™s, or killing multiple enemies in a single attack etc. Overall it needs to be more challenging.

Fun turn based RPG

Needs updated content, DLC or maybe characters to choose from. Fun game though

Limited opportunity for strategic thinking.

The game has a very nice look, but after playing with it for a couple of hours I became quite frustrated with how limited my choices really were. I'm a big fan of difficult games, and was hoping that this would test my wits the way Darkest Dungeon and Card Hunters does, but hard games are only fun when winning or losing is the result of a player's decisions. The lack of choices hits you the moment you start your first game, when you have one type of hero to choose from, one choice of positive traits, and one choice of negative traits. You don't even get to name your generic knight. Anything you find in your adventure has to be used immediately, or lost forever. Since any given card can only be used about a dozen times before running out of charges, it's very easy to find yourself with access only to defensive/buff cards, and without a fresh attack card you are effectively unarmed. New cards are obtained almost exclusively by killing monsters, so if your last offensive card is out of charges you are utterly screwed. If you could trade in all of your defensive cards for one offensive card, you could keep playing. Alternatively, if dying gave you an additional trait to choose from on your next attempt, there would be some reason to try again. As it is I'm moving on. I'll likely check back in a year, but for now I'm taking this off my tablet.

One of my favorite games!

This has been one of my โ€œgo-toโ€ games for years. I love everything about it. Now that my wife has taken interest; I would be very happy to see expansions for co-op and vs. modes...and I would gladly pay $$$ for it! Maybe a sequel?!

Love it

Steep-ish curve to master the attrition-based gameplay but very satisfying once you understand. RNG sucks sometimes.

All is forgiven since there's no ads or microtransactions! F*** yeah!

Too quick

Gets old reallllly quick

Best of the Best Rogue Style

Loved it.
Finally completed it.
Highly recommend it.

Fun, clever, lags

Pretty, clever, simple graphics. Good GUI. Some strategy required. Turns can lag as you wait for monsters to move.

How to lose

Why cant you have a number count on cards to know how long till used up. Also why when you look at loot you have to swap or discard and lose it forever. Why cant you just drop it and return later to pick up. Almost 5 stars a great game awsome sound effects just needs a little more polish. Sort out drop rather than discard and already it's on to a winner. Or even have a card deck up to 10 cards you can swap around or even just 5 would be enough. Still worth buying has the game makes you smile when one hit kills all lol

Buy it! It is worth it.

I don't have the crashing problem, they must have fixed that bug, overall one of the best games I have seen in a while.
There are not allot of dungeon games period. Much less ones that allow you to play them, walk away and continue where you left off.
Worth playing ๐Ÿ˜Š

Very good, but some issues

This is a great game. Very fun, and a cool mechanic all around. Upgrading/leveling is pretty buggy, though: you're supposed to unlock new traits with special gems. I've found two, they tell me I've unlocked a new trait, but nope. Then the rules say that you visit a "shop" every three levels, but I've never seen it show up: lots of gold and nowhere to spend it! Maybe I'm not understanding, but if so that needs to be more clear in the rules.
But this is really fun! I hope these bugs get fixed, and then I'll be the first to change my review to 5 stars.

Good game.

Enjoyable easy-going game. Not always easy to beat a level and to get to the end, but difficulty balance is good. It would be a nice addition to be able to start from the last level that was completed instead of starting over when you die.

A Worthy Challenge

A fun and quick hack-n-slash adventure that gets more challenging mentally as you go along. Single action turns and degenerative cards makes it as much about strategy and tactics as it does about plowing into enemies and collecting loot. The cards are diverse and simple, which makes for interesting combos that can really pack a punch. The learning curve is intense (you will die many, many times) and having to start from the beginning is motivation to take your time and consider your next move. The story is somewhat lacking and there is room for cutscenes between chapters that would really help players understand why the Crusader is here. All in all it gets an 9/10 for mechanics, 4/10 for story, and 8/10 for overall gameplay. (I gave it 5 stars because I can't help but love it)

Good but not good.

Looks great and accomplishes its goal of being a simple dungeon crawl. It's flaws are the cards don't last long. They break and you wind up just running around 1 turn at a time waiting for any monster to die on their own so you can see if they have a card. Why do cards need to break? This makes no sense. Also you can't zoom out enough to even see your next move and when you swipe to try to see as soon as you lift your finger it autos back to your last position. You have to use both hands to navigate sometimes and that should not happen. Anyhoo, if cards were stable I can see how this would be fun but right now it's just frustrating. I'm guessing all those glowing reviews are friends.
