Very bad

I’ve tried to use the bikes and the apps multiple times and every time we run into issues. The app is so glitchy. The bikes don’t work 9/10 times. And when they do work, they’re janky and very poor quality. Just recently took one and the electric bike part didn’t work so look out for that because that made a huge difference.

The Worst

Horrible app and service. The app constantly glitches, freezes, and crashes. The bikes are in terrible condition, and the app function to report an issue crashes after about 5 seconds of use, making it impossible to report any problems. I have an annual unlimited membership, so I unfortunately sometime rely on these bikes… occasionally the system will fail to register that I’ve returned my previous bike, and I’ll be locked out of undocking a new one, leaving me stranded. Calling customer service is a hassle too. The app function to call directly adds zeros in front of the phone number, so that doesn’t work… the email customer service function in the app doesn’t work because it crashes.

The company won’t send me a fob to use the bikes without my phone because their fob machine is broken. I also find it frustrating that unlimited membership holders are restricted to 1 bike, meaning I can’t rent bikes for friends on a per-per-use basis. Such a trash app and company.

The worst

They take your money and then they shutdown for maintenance in the spring when it’s the best bike weather

Greedy and Cheap

The reduction of a ride time from 45 to 30 minutes is a joke. This company is so cheap. You literally can’t ride from some of the distant stations to downtown in less than 30 minutes.

Errors, couldn’t set it up

Visiting Raleigh for a few days and was excited to explore by bike, but the app refused to work. Entered my personal info but the app kept returning an “Error, try again later.”

Disappointed.

Money gouging

Terrible app and terrible bikes. Not enough docking stations and if you don’t return the bikes within 30 minutes they charge you .18 cents per minute. Impossible to actually use these bikes to go anywhere other than just riding around in a circle in the parking lot. Would never use again.

Don’t bother.

Biggest money stealing waste of time. Spent the first 15 minutes of our “bike ride” jumping through the hoops of signing up for the up. After all that the bikes weren’t even charged so we didn’t get to ride after all! So I’m out $6.44 but thinking maybe I’ll give it a whirl another day. Then I wake up the next day to a $25 hold charge on my account. The only bright spot in this process was being able to reach customer service rather easily and getting refunded all of the charges AND canceling my account. Fingers crossed till it actually hits my bank account though. Lesson learned.

Save yourself a headache

The app doesn’t auto fill and it it won’t even scan your credit card or allow you to use PayPal or Apple Pay. It should be stated clearly to check to make sure the bike is fully charged before you even begin the process. After entering the code on the bicycle it doesn’t tell you the reason why it’s not unlocking the bike but then we figured out it’s because the bike wasn’t charged. So we didn’t get to ride but we were still charged the two hour rental rate and the next day we had a $25 hold charge. Fortunately when we called customer service the representative was friendly and helpful and refunded our money without question however an experience we were really looking forward to turned out to be a tedious waste of time!

Doesn’t work

Rented a bike, the rental glitched and the electric motor didn’t work, couldn’t fix the rental in the app and no one answered the phone. Do not use

App is garbage

I don’t leave too many reviews, but this app is a nightmare to use. Not at all intuitive. Even the graphics aren’t laid out properly, making it impossible to read my options.

App never works

I have to call customer service every time in order to unlock a bike (which does work but is annoying) and no one has ever been able to resolve my app issues.

Constant membership cancellation

About every two months on the “pay as you go” membership that is supposed to last a year some how goes out, and you have to re up the membership, but the caveat is that there is 25$ “security” that takes about 5 days to come back to your account, now doing this once a year is fine, but now I’ve this happen 3 times, most currently tonight, for some 25$ means you make rent or not and the bikes are my sole way of transportation and for some a convenient way to get across the city. I hope there is some review into the membership system.

Embarrassing app for a software company

I know Citrix probably farmed this app out to some foreign developer but it’s kind of bad for their brand with locals to see that no one QA’d this setup flow. I love to see them investing in bikes, but now I know why I’ve never seen anyone riding them. I almost aborted setup twice. They even asked me which country I was in haha

Horrible experience

The sign up experience is the worst I have ever experienced. Forms won’t auto fill and inputs are super glitchy.

I finally managed to get a bike but the app bugged out when I tried to return it so I had to leave the bike next to the parking station. I was charged $44 the next day despite reporting the glitch. A $25 hold was also placed on my cart resulting in a near $80 charge just to rent a bike for 5 minutes. AWFUL AWFUL AWFUL!!! I hope raleigh kicks this terrible service out of our city soon. Worst bike share experience I have ever had.

Easy to use!

Very easy to use.

Simple and easy to use!

Fun Bikes

It took a few minutes to register, but isn’t everything. It just seems longer when you want to get on your way! Great bikes, I love being able to use the electric ones. Super fun!

App could use work

Tried to use the Sign In with Apple feature, couldn't get it to work (it's also not an option on their website so I assume it just doesn't work in general and I have it there for some strange reason). The scan credit card feature only seems to work with newer credit cards that have the numbers printed on the back. They really should just support Apple Pay or anyone at least PayPal.

Half the QR code's on bikes I scanned didn't work.

There login screen doesn't support the password auto fill well, it only does the password field not the email field. They really should support login with Face/TouchID

Credit Card Process is Buggy

I couldn’t delete my old credit card and it kept saying any new card I tried to input was invalid. The app also said my saved card was invalid, but none of them are invalid.

Worst bike app!!

Worst bike app in existence. It will take 45 minutes to get the app working, and then once you do you can only ride the bike to a designated charging station or they charge you $2,000. Avoid this company and just use one of the many other options
