Yesss, it’s back up!!
I noticed i couldnt redownload this after i upgraded my iphone; It said it wasnt on the app store anymore! I sent an email about wanting it back on the app store, and here it is!
This was the first turn based rogue-like i loved and now I’m hooked on them! Once again, I’m SUPER glad it’s back on here!

Thank You
I’m not big on mobile games, but I’ve semi routinely spent the last few years playing this game every day or two. It’s been a instrument of procrastination when I have things to do;It’s been a tool of prime distraction when my mind is in need of distracting.
To anyone considering downloading CQ2: I don’t know your tastes or what you like so I can’t tell you to get it honestly, but I can say this developer has some artistic character and is competent. If it is in your taste’s genre, I heed you to give it a shot.
I’ve been hitting the “Remind me later” option when the request to rate that app has appeared an obscene amount of times and I’m finally going to make it stop popping up, and how could I refuse the chance to say thank you so very much. ≈•)

Needs a 6th star- Fave phone game since ‘17
I gotta say I was a little upset there was a less than 5 stars as the average on this game. CQ2 has been my rock for goin on half a decade. Like seriously- one of the only positives in my “Attack of the Fire Nation” (at least it was only 5 years & not 100 lol) Pick it up anytime, play anytime, the world stays paused for your schedule/attention span, and it’s all tailored to you. Multiple characters, many different lifestyles, I make a story in my head each time and it’s like reading a book/watching a movie to me. Ultimate playability and replay-ability as every go ends up a little or a lot different each time. 15/10 everyone try this game, give it time to learn the moves, and it ends up feeling like a spelunking chess game. THEY DO NOT POP UP LAME VIDEO ADS AT. ANY. TIME!!! Or even ASK you to watch one. Hat’s off to you, Randomnine Limited. I would come to Panels, shake your hand and offer my services as Creative Director for your company, cuz I got mad respect. Peace ✨🌌🪐🐉

Been here a long time
I’ve been playing this game for 5 years now. I put this game on all of my devices upon purchase. It’s the perfect mobile game, a dang shame it hasn’t been updated in a while. Much love to the devs if they’re still around
An awesome and snappy roguelike
Cardinal Quest 2 is fun and goes as fast as you want it to. You can fly through areas and combat, or you can try to plan out each and every move, all at your own pace. The streamlining of much of the tedium is great too. The pixel art is pleasing to the eye, and the effects are satisfying.
My only complaints aren't enough to ruin the game. There's a lack of an indicator that all enemies on a floor have been killed, since it's easy to miss the text pop up that says when all the baddies are gone. Also an option to use arrow keys so my fingers don't have to cover the top half of the screen when moving upwards. The early game spells and items could benefit from some more variety too.
None of these downsides are enough to detract from the fun of the game, but they would be great additions that would make it pretty much perfect. A total blast to play, I highly recommend it!
