Carecar contracts for transportation
I had an extremely frustrating experience with CareCar. As a small woman-owned and operated business, we rely on contracts to pay our drivers and keep our lights on. CareCar breached our contract and has not made a payment in over 50 days. Despite multiple calls and emails, they completely ignore our attempts to resolve the issue. Additionally, they show favoritism to other transportation partners, which has been disheartening. They also haven’t fixed ongoing problems with their driver app, adding to our frustration. Due to their lack of communication and failure to address these issues, we are now considering legal action for non-payment. I cannot recommend CareCar based on our experience.

If I could give 0 stars I would. I have been working for this company for the past 3 months and each month has been very very stressful due to the fact that they CANNOT pay on time. I decided to try this job because it had stated drivers would be paid EVERY Tuesday and Friday. I am now going on 5 weeks without being paid. I do not understand how a company like this expects us to keep working when they are not even paying us to put gas in our vehicles. If you are considering applying for this job, I would strongly advise you to not do so unless you are okay with making late payments every month since THEY WILL NOT PAY ON TIME!!!

Don’t Get Paid
🚨This is a scam!!!!!!!🚨 I wanted to try it out and help the people around my community. I went about 28 miles out at some point during a single shift. The people you drive were nice but the company will NOT pay you for your work. I’ve spent months trying to get money for the work I did. They’ve sent me to 5+ different contacts acting like something will be done and it never does. This is volunteer work which is fine if they advertised that but they say you will get paid for you work. 🚨THIS IS A LIE, YOU WILL NOT GET PAID.🚨 You will not get paid within a week of your work, within week, within months. I hope it doesn’t come down to years.

Don’t work here
The reason I decided to try the platform due to payments Tuesday’s and Friday’s. I worked the platform to try it out. The pick up and drop offs of clients is so so. Need major improvement because how could a driver know who is the client if you don’t know any description or not even a picture on the app of who your picking up. You just have to guess. Payment they told was going to be delayed so I waited the following week still haven’t got paid. Saying they created a ticket but nothing at all. Like how you expect people to work with their own car with no payment coming as told on the platform which states every Tuesday’s and Friday’s. I asked to talk to a supervisor and nothing at all. All I get is a person saying I don’t work in the financing department. Well I’m reporting this company to the BBB. I suggest anyone wanting to work this platform not to do it at all. I should of read the reviews before doing any work for this platform. So please anyone avoid this situation.

No pay! You work for free!
I signed up did my work and have not been paid! It’s been over 2 weeks and all I get is “submit a ticket “ SERIOUSLY?? And still have the audacity to text me and call me if I’d like more shifts! REALLY!?!
HAS PAYMENT ISSUES
If you expect to get paid for your work, you’re in for a rude awakening. Pay outs are Friday and Tuesdays, I received an email on Monday saying that I was not going to get paid due to a glitch in the system. What??????? Don’t depend on this app, they can’t even answer why you haven’t got paid. 2 weeks later and still have not been paid for my services. You believe that!!

They need a better App!
On my first day driving the very nice passengers who were picked up and dropped off from Dr.'s offices, physical therapy, and short runs from business (all of which are arranged by the business for them) I enjoyed the passengers, I did NOT enjoy using the Care Car App. It losses connection, it is S L O W on updating drives, and it almost never has the correct information when you need it. If they can get a new App that actually works... they will have a solid service for the elderly and those who need transportation when going to and from medical appointments.

Great Idea!
The fundamental of the application is lacking. It’s whole purpose is communication from one party to another. It constantly loses service, cuts out in the middle of a trip, half our clients numbers don’t work to contact them 5 min in advance, and the BIGGEST problem by far is that it does not notify the care car driver when a message comes through from the office. In turn, we potentially miss an opportunity for a trip unless we are called.
Personal experience (going on two years) I’ve had to uninstall and reinstall the app numerous times and at least doing that is a good way to reset and restart. It’s just time consuming and can take away time you could be heading to your next appointment. Sometimes it kicks you off when you slide “arrived” or doesn’t read when you slide “start” so I’ll do triple checks when en route to make sure it still says that I’ve started a trip.
Now for the POSITIVE!! It has some awesome features like how loud it buzzes to alert you that you have a new task. I like that it gives you options as to what map it connects you to. The information and notes section on the clients is very helpful. The layout of the apps daily schedule is organized, easy to navigate, and visually pleasing.
Please please please get the other kinks worked out so I can change my rating to 5 stars!! 😋🤞

Not working
This app is full of glitches. No notifications or alerts. There is no way to even know you have a task without having to open the app. Very inconvenient, and makes me service very hard. Please fix ASAP!

The only issue I’m getting is notifications alerts, will be so great if this can be fix, I’m not getting notifications when supervisors or support send me text messages through the app! Thank you
