We use AI across multiple sections of the app, including task content, job recommendations, AI chat, and tools like resume checker & interview prep. Which AI features were you looking for? We'd love your feedback!
Lacking
Where has this been
Explorative and Progressive
Gen X family of mine whom only known a handful of jobs climbing the corporate ladder of companies in Machinery & Manufacturing finally have a chance to see where else their skills can take them.
In the future, I’d love to utilize a “Job and Responsibilities” sheet to build upon. Resumes and CSV are a great start here. Although, I believe it’s hard to see someone who has been doing hard labor working 12 hour shifts to sit down and give this much attention that it deserves.
For instance, this person wakes up at 5AM everyday 5 times a week to arrive at 6AM and leave at 6PM. They’re tired. Late 40s and absolutely exhausted. They’ve been on their feet all day walking the shop floor the size of a football field. They only spend time in front of the computer for reports and scheduling and meetings. Navigating anything like LinkedIn, Indeed, and hiring platforms alike. God willing, they may have time to finally say, “I’m getting out of here. I’m getting a different job.”
That’s the person I want to see becoming a power user to truly take control of their future.
Great stuff!
Career Genie- Fantastic App!
As much AI here as a grandfather clock
Was looking for something different than my current job of IT management and database programming and so I loaded up my linkedin profile and what I got was just more of the same:
“Explore Data Engineering!”
“No thanks.”
“Explore Tech Product Management!”
“No thanks.” “Explore Network Administration!
“Time to delete this app…”
Where were any questions about interests or hobbies or even - wait for it - putting my tech skills to use in more non-tech industries such as Arts, Film, Music, etc.?
How about key terms that I’d like to avoid in my next/ideal job?
If you’ve been a chef for 20 yrs and you want a change to something not culinary, this app will recommend you to explore Short order Cook, Pastry Chef, and Cake Decorator!
This app seems to work more off of keyword searching than any real AI. You’d be better off job hunting around linkedin or indeed.
Finally, a glitch note - after I got to the “Explore this Pathway” area, hitting the back arrow to change the industry filter resulted in a “no data found” error after reselecting options.
