Good when and if it works
Does not keep up to date with new iOS releases which are forced by my organisation. Now consistently Get a blank screen when I check my daughter’s activity. But the alerts come and I cannot acknowledge them. Then I turn my phone on silent and miss urgent calls and other notifications. Buggy and glitchy. Don’t understand when you are paying so much for these sensors (that are required with the pump that costs as much as a car) that the app support is so poor. The Medtronic sensors are not reliable and often fail prematurely. Causing more alerts. Complaints are met with tell us the box number, and they send out one sensor. Like it’s a batch problem? It’s consistent. Pump often loses communication with sensor transmitter. The sad part is the Dexcom system isn’t better. At least the Medtronic pump feedback loop works much better than competitors even if the Medtronic pump clip breaks when you look at it wrong…. Seriously poor engineering from Medtronic for what could be a great system, it is just mediocre at best.

This app is dangerous
Absolutely useless. It logs me out all the time and I have no idea I’m logged out. You only get notifications if you allow all notifications at all times i.e. you can’t have a sleep or do not disturb mode on your phone, as they still haven’t figured out how to override ‘do not disturb’ to allow critical alerts to come through, so you’d have to have every app pinging at you all night, which is not at all practical. My son has had sever hypos in the night, and the alerts don’t come through until the morning. Iphone xe. Ios 26.1

Suivi de pompe minimed 780
L’application est simple à utiliser. Il serait bien de pouvoir suivre l’adaptation de la pompe par rapport au basal qu’on a programmer histoire de connaître ce que notre fils reçoit réellement d’insuline à au moment m. Par contre nous avons vraiment peur de l’arrivée de l’ios26: êtes vous près pour cette nouvelle version qui arrive bientôt?

Why log me out?
This app although a bit clunky seems to do an okay job. My biggest gripe is that it sporadically logs me out. It doesn’t allow you to save the password, so it’s just another password I have to try and remember when I’m desperate to check BGLs. I’ve had to go through the forgotten password process too many times to remember. Fix this and I’ll be happy.

Woefully inadequate
Considering the purpose of this app, you would assume it would be a polished, reliable, stable app, you would be wrong. It is missing massive amounts of basic functionality. Its uptime is well subpar and running updates in the middle of the night is just pure insanity. If you are relying on this app to help maintain your health (or a loved one) as I am, I feel sorry for you. I will be leaving Medtronic as soon as possible due to this app.

Application qui ne fonctionne pas correctement
C’est quotidiennement qu’il faut désinstaller et réinstaller cette application pour avoir seulement quelques heurs à peine de visibilité sur nos smartphones de la glycémie de notre fille qui a seulement 12 ans et doit se débrouiller seule du mieux que possible, la journée au collège sans que nous ayons un regard sur sa glycémie, ni la nuit pour consulter sa glycémie à distance au lieu de la réveiller pour voir à combien elle est. Cela génère une angoisse pour tout le monde. Et un suivi pour nous parents très compliqué. Quand allez vous enfin mettre en place une application fiable et fonctionnelle pour aider les malades dans leur quotidien?

Sorry to say ever time I update the app it seem not to work for a couple days after not very good I now can’t see my sister’s sugar levels 🙁
Terrible app
The idea is right, but the app is terrible.
The app chooses when it will send me an alert or not and most of the time it doesn’t send me any, so my daughter constantly goes low without me knowing. Yet I log in and that’s when the alert pops up.
It needs different sounds like the Dexcom app has, needs the ability to change what alarms you do and don’t get (not just receive whatever the pump receives) and needs to be an AWFUL LOT more reliable.

Mais pourquoi cette application fonctionne aussi mal ?? Impossible d’avoir cette application qui fonctionne correctement 1 seul jour. Elle se déconnecte au moin 1 fois par jour avec le message « aucune connexion carelink ». Nous somme obligé de la desinstaller et la reinstaller pour de nouveau avoir accès aux donnés. Vraiment une catastrophe ! C’est pourtant trés pratique pour nous parents de petit DT1 ! Svp faites quelques chose …..

Log me out and drive me crazy!
I dont know why this app just keep log me out and hard to log in back! And even the technical support couldn’t help me either. Remove the app and reinstall again and again and again and still cant login! One day the miracle happened its work but not even for a week log me out again!

How can a company that designs a life-saving medical devices, not have a functional app that displays data without constantly crashing, bugging or logging you out? It worked for a day. Now I have to spend about 10 minutes opening it each time to get the data… IF it even works. Forgot about alerts - haven’t gotten one of those in ages.

DO NOT SWITCH TO THIS PUMP AND SENSOR SYSTEM
The app has no possible way to connect a share partner, I am both a patient and a partner I’ve had to make 2 different accounts for the mini med app and the care link connect, I have figured out how to send a request but there is no possible way to accept them ! Customer service just asks the same questions over with no real answers ! DO NOT SWITCH TO THIS PUMP AND SENSOR SYSTEM YOU WILL REGRET IT.

Se déconnecte très souvent
J’utilise cette application pour suivre le diabète de mon fils. L’application est plutôt simple pour le suivi mais avec un GROS GRIS problème : elle se déconnecte tout le temps. Je suis obligée de la désinstaller et de réinstaller plusieurs fois par semaine 🥵
Many issues
Logs me out all the time and many issues trying to log back in. Will not accept my password and have to consistently reset my password. The notification settings are minimal which means I cannot reduce the amount I receive. The notification go off consistently for my partner until I open the app and mark as read. This is very annoying overnight and whilst at work. It’s too much!

Works great about 50% of the time
I love many things about my daughters pump- but i do not love this app, or the fact that pump disconnects from Carelink daily so this doesn’t work, or the guardian isn’t remotely reliable despite the frequent need for calibration.
The alarms in this app randomly do not seem to go off, but not consistently, so I can’t really even call support.
Another annoying thing is that you can’t update your phone for ages until they FINALLY update this app. It’s ridiculous.
I gave it 2 stars- because when it is working it s great.

Unfortunately, I have to rated as one. If I had an opportunity to write it zero out of five, I would.
Our son is T1 Arrested and every time I try to use the app either crashes or logs me out within 4 or 5 hours
I love the technology, but keep working on it. Saying that I can’t trust my sons life on incorrect data or live streaming data which is inaccurate.

Is this being updated and is that why I can’t login anymore
Can’t log in on my iPhone and had to get the usb adapter which my pc won’t recognize. Sad situation for such a big company
Amazing again thanks to update
This app is a lifesaver literally. It sends me alerts if my hubby is having a low while’s asleep and didn’t hear his own alarm. He is hypo unaware so has no symptoms until he starts seizing when levels get extremely low . With this app I get an alert whenever he might need assistance and can make sure he’s okay before it gets too serious. Honestly , along with the guardian 4 sensor and 780g pump we both feel we have our lives back. Stress levels are at a minimum now and juggling that blue balloon feels much more manageable.
It does have to be said though that for quite a while before this update, several features of the carelink app were not working. This meant more risks and more stress as we had to double check details etc more regularly.
Thank you fixing the bugs etc.
My only request to Medtronic would be to keep doing “regular updates” more often and to never underestimate how much of a difference this app can have to people’s everyday lives.
