Great for connecting families
My Dad loves his CareWindow video phone and now uses it daily to keep in touch with family members spread across four Australian states and the USA.
He finds the CareWindow simpler and more stable than the iPhone’s Assistive Access mode which he began to have difficulty managing due to the progression of his dementia.
The CareWindow photo gallery is another feature he really enjoys and being able to leave video messages when he is unavailable seems to help with prompting him to call back family members.

Unanswered calls
It would be good if there was a call history available. With Konnect I could look back and see which days my mother hadn't answered my call. Unless I make a note on a pad I have no idea now.
It’s great
I use it to keep an eye on my bed ridden mum with dementia whenever I have go out. It would be good if there were some way to zoom in on what I see as I have to have the cardwindow placed just slightly too far away to read her face properly
Noticing a lot of instability and interference
We have moved to this App from Konnect. I am noticing a lot of interference, dropped out calls and instability.
This is very frustrating and causes huge anxiety to my father who panics every time he can’t reach me.
There are clearly some bugs and it’s not clear sound. Other people appear on screen in call and loud ringing noises in background
There is no ringing sound when I ring people in my care window so I never know until they pick up. I would like to see photo sharing also as this is a very necessary feature.
The concept is great but the product currently has instability and unreliability issues from my experience. Hopefully these issues can be addressed.
