Disappointing

UPDATE: Still garbage. Still can’t scroll to save changes to comfort profiles. I can’t wait until all these remedial code tappers are replaced with AI.

UPDATE: Still garbage. Still can’t update the comfort profile because the app doesn’t scroll and the button to save is below the bottom margin. I can drag the screen and see it like an oasis in the desert, but I can’t touch it. Can’t wait until AI takes all their jobs.

UPDATE: Still junk. Can’t adjust the schedules because they haven’t figured out not all phones are the size of tablets and I can’t scroll up the page to save/update.

UPDATE: Still utter garbage. You can’t even turn the system on off, change, or even look at the schedule. You have to slide the screen up to reach the controls, but it doesn’t stay, so you can tap them. The last update claimed to enhance the UI, but there’s no appreciable change. It’s inexcusable that they just trashed a wonderful, intuitive, extremely useful app for what feels like the work of the CEO’s nephew who took a class.
________

Because Carrier discontinued the thermostat their otherwise excellent app supported, when Apple made changes they appear to have completely deprioritized providing a useful update for it. Left us all out in the cold, as it were. They kept saying they working hard, but every other app I have, from the remedial to the complex figured it out. I guess they’re regretting making a thermostat with such useful and staying power that they gave to keep supporting it, but that’s their job. They can’t even manage to change the OLD pictures from the app they broke. I am seriously thinking about getting a new smart thermostat and seriously determined that it never again come from Carrier OR Honeywell, who coincidentally acquired it in the summer of 2024.

Used to be three star, now one

Stopped updating. Needs a basic refresh screen pull down mechanism if it won’t show accurate temperature set numbers on its own. Why not ensure both work.

terrible

Can’t open this iPad with my new iPhone plus getting all kinds of security pop-up saying carrier website is not secure app that does work on my old iPad. Temperature goes all the way down and all the way up whenever it feels like it.

an unsupported app

Carrier is asleep at the wheel on this app, and does not care. I updated the app. Do not do this … they deleted all the scheduling for air circulation!
