Top reviews

Its messaging with extra steps.

Cool concept but it would make more sense to have a map simulating the pigeon actually flying. Great we can pick a roost but when you send a message its just like sending it on any other platform but you get a message your pigeon is on the way. Pretty idiotic for not thinking of the simulated map

Fun and quirky

Great app fun and quirky. Keeps me off my phone but equally dying to see the response

음…

메시지를 하나씩만 보낼 수 있다는게 아쉽고 비둘이가 편지지 날라오는 애니메이션 있는줄 알았는데 없어서 좀 에바스러워용..

Needs more content

I love the concept but if you are going to have to pay for the birds you should be able to name them and see some pigeon stats. I feel more people would be willing to pay for them if they could personify their pigeons with names / stats etc. even something as simple as naming your birds would increase their emotional value and make people more willing to opt into that investment. If this change is made in the future I will change my review to 5 stars.

Peak

Wie WhatsApp, nur langsamer. Nachrichten werden länger und ich kann die nächste Taube kaum erwarten. Meine Freunde und ich schreiben uns jetzt sehr altertümlich.
10/10 würde wieder ne Taube verschicken

Stop the Slop :(

Ai generated imagery is absolutely detrimental to our environment and TO OUR PIGEONS! It’s devastating to me that this app features Ai imagery in its logo. I would highly recommend reaching out to a real artist and stop your Ai slop usage. Small devs are 100% capable of creating without Ai usage, and it’s disgusting that you’re doubling down and defending instead of simply acknowledging a mistake. Bigger corps do not have a monopoly on the art you create. It doesn’t have to be perfect, but the fact that you don’t even see the issue or seem to understand the dire environmental consequences of random ai slop usage is appalling.

Response from developer

Hey! Totally understand your concerns, we've been working with a designer to update our designs. AI is a great way for indie devs to get up and started. Without it, only big corporations would have the resources to build stuff.

A good service

The pidgins are strong and well trained

Funny messenger app

I got this app because my friend told me to. First message i sent him was a single word insult. It was worth waiting 9 hours for the message to get to him and 9 hours for the pigeon to return before i could respond.

New pidge

Can you add jet propelled pigeon please. I think it would be so fun

Awesome Slow down messanger - but to fast

Its I very nice app, but the pigeons speed with 110 mph max is to fast. So it can be more slowed down.

best app ever

bosh

Sublime

Well, well, well, Mr Noah. What a man you are. A splendid idea for an Application. Such joy. I currently have a pigeon on the way to the South Pacific, Godspeed Pidge, Godspeed. Saying that, said Pidge seems to be confused after both I and the recipient have moved flock location after flight, is this a bug? Hoping Mr Pidge can navigate this change of scenery and re-route accordingly in due course. If not, it’s been emotional, RIP, Pidge 20/08 - 20/08. A short but worthy life delivering all of 4 messages. See you in another life, Pidge.

현실적

진짜 너무 현실적이고 현실고등 굿굿

Edit: fixed - Notifications missing

Love the idea of the app, but despite notifications turned on, I never get one, when a pidgeon arrives

Not accurate

I like the idea, and honestly, it was fun to use for the 24 hours. But I’m going to delete it.

The standard claim says that a pigeon can travel at around 110 mph, but when I did some research, I found that real-life pigeon speeds are generally around 40–50 mph, with some reaching up to about 90 mph.

So basically, the message is moving much faster than a regular pigeon would. If the message is going to be faster than the pigeon it’s supposed to represent, I’d rather just use a regular text message. I was looking for something more accurate and realistic, not something based on made-up or exaggerated numbers.

Fun concept but…

I was expecting more. I love the idea. I didn’t realize that if a pigeon dies you’d have to buy a new one. Navigating the app doesn’t make a lot of sense; overall I felt like the few buttons just lead to purchase more birds. I eventually figured out where to see the progress of my pigeon’s flight (could have been cool to see if it had difficulties; ex. Weather like stronger winds or evading hawks… something that makes me more invested in the pigeons). I Haven’t found out if I can see that information when someone else sends a scroll. Honestly I initially thought we had like a rooftop hub with multiple birds. I have family in many different states and overseas. I had hoped to send cute messages daily to them but if it takes days to arrive, I’m not able to send additional pigeons without paying more. I assumed the in-app purchases would have been something like buying feed. To strengthen your bird and it’s chance of a successful journey. But I also thought the risk of loss was higher, now knowing you have to pay if it happens I’m glad it’s low. But honestly the risk is the whole reason I was excited about the app. Feeling a bit let down; there were so many fun opportunities here that are just missed.

Only on one device?

Hello. I have a problem. When I send a message in the app on my iPhone and later open the app on my iPad, I don't have access to the message. I'm logged in on the iPhone and iPad with the same data.

Unable to decrypt? What?
