What's New in Divine Video

1.0.16

July 12, 2026

Creation just got smoother. • Add voice-overs and reverse clips. • Enjoy steadier, more responsive multi-clip editing. • Keep video uploads moving when Divine is in the background. • Manage storage and choose your cache limit. • Share faster and double-tap messages to like them. • Get better translations, fixes across the camera, feed, playback, and comments. More making. Less friction. Keep looping.

Not bad, but…

Sooooooo much potential. But why am I seeing the same videos over and over? You go to categories and there are thousands of videos. But it just keeps cycling through ones I’ve already seen/liked. I also think there needs to be a not interested feature. There are certain videos I’m just not interested in and I’m sure I’m not the only person that feels that way

Lag = DOA

I still use Vine on an old iPhone, and the lag in this new app makes it unusable. When I touch the screen, it should be recording, and when I release, it should stop. Not a moment later. This was why I never could get into Instagram videos when they tried to copy Vine's schtick, and it's why I won't get into this app if it's not fixed. Luckily, I still have my trusty SE with iOS 9.3.5 (even though it has to be tethered to a battery at all times...). Also, seems like focus doesn't work.

This is a recommendation so people who use older devices can use this app

Oh I use the iPhone SE first GEN but it doesn’t work on this install on a different phone but I think you should make it work on device to the iOS iOS 9 it will barely function but it should be installed it and it might function I don’t know yet I think maybe iOS 9 is pushing it for a recommendation but I think maybe iOS 12 or 10 is 10 would’ve been nostalgic pull out iOS 10 on your iPhone 5 and start using it yeah that would be cool maybe iOS 9 get some support but I hope this will help you get more people

Amazing….just like old times

I love this app. It brings back childhood memories and joy with friends.

I do wish tho that you could go live or at least make videos up to 60 seconds tho.

Other than that it’s amazing.

Can’t upload videos

The fact that you can’t upload videos already on your camera roll feels kinda lame because from what I remember you could on the original vine? How else did we get “There’s only one thing worse than a rapist. Boom. A CHILD.” Yes six seconds is the perfect length for the funnies to happen however if you’ve got a funny moment in a longer video, like say you were waiting for something to line up perfectly, it’s too much to have to remember to SPECIFICALLY OPEN DIVINE rather than your camera app. It’s easier to open the camera app, film it, then go into Divine and trim the clip you’re looking for. And I’m pretty sure the magic clips that were done with editing were done when you could upload videos, so what’s the deal? Right now the app is filled with people who are trying to force old vine humor rather than letting it come naturally, and it’s not fun to be on. I feel like if we’re not allowed to upload our own videos the app will die.

Response from developer

We know this restriction bothers a lot of people. We are doing it to prevent the posting of AI generated content. We hope more cameras will support the c2pa content verification so we know it’s not AI. There are many apps you can upload content to but only one without AI slop. You can record as many videos as long as you want in the divine app and it saves them with content verification to your camera roll. The in app editor lets you pick and organize the clips you want in to a single video.
