Divine is the best app ever my whole life since 2016 but 2026

Divine I love it so much because why i obsessed it so much always content like me so last year vine my account is missing but now is back so excited it

Can’t upload videos from camera

I’m so so happy vine is back!back but I grew up with the original vine I’m kinda sad we can’t use videos from our camera and have a remix music or sound option like the original vine

SO Excited

I never got to use the original Vine because i was too young, but i feel like this is gonna be huge. I love the classic record mode the other one is a little annoying with editing, but i use tiktok and have like 35 K followers at the time of writing this so ik how. but i wanted something a bit different and this is absolutely amazing. Lowkey you could probably keep just that classic tap the screen and we go vibe cuz its awesome. Can't wait till more people are on the app, i never leave reviews but i had to! This is awesomeee!!!!

Not bad, but…

Sooooooo much potential. But why am I seeing the same videos over and over? You go to categories and there are thousands of videos. But it just keeps cycling through ones I’ve already seen/liked. I also think there needs to be a not interested feature. There are certain videos I’m just not interested in and I’m sure I’m not the only person that feels that way

Lag = DOA

I still use Vine on an old iPhone, and the lag in this new app makes it unusable. When I touch the screen, it should be recording, and when I release, it should stop. Not a moment later. This was why I never could get into Instagram videos when they tried to copy Vine's schtick, and it's why I won't get into this app if it's not fixed. Luckily, I still have my trusty SE with iOS 9.3.5 (even though it has to be tethered to a battery at all times...). Also, seems like focus doesn't work.

This is a recommendation so people who use older devices can use this app

Oh I use the iPhone SE first GEN but it doesn’t work on this install on a different phone but I think you should make it work on device to the iOS iOS 9 it will barely function but it should be installed it and it might function I don’t know yet I think maybe iOS 9 is pushing it for a recommendation but I think maybe iOS 12 or 10 is 10 would’ve been nostalgic pull out iOS 10 on your iPhone 5 and start using it yeah that would be cool maybe iOS 9 get some support but I hope this will help you get more people

Amazing….just like old times

I love this app. It brings back childhood memories and joy with friends.

I do wish tho that you could go live or at least make videos up to 60 seconds tho.

Other than that it’s amazing.

Can’t upload videos

The fact that you can’t upload videos already on your camera roll feels kinda lame because from what I remember you could on the original vine? How else did we get “There’s only one thing worse than a rapist. Boom. A CHILD.” Yes six seconds is the perfect length for the funnies to happen however if you’ve got a funny moment in a longer video, like say you were waiting for something to line up perfectly, it’s too much to have to remember to SPECIFICALLY OPEN DIVINE rather than your camera app. It’s easier to open the camera app, film it, then go into Divine and trim the clip you’re looking for. And I’m pretty sure the magic clips that were done with editing were done when you could upload videos, so what’s the deal? Right now the app is filled with people who are trying to force old vine humor rather than letting it come naturally, and it’s not fun to be on. I feel like if we’re not allowed to upload our own videos the app will die.

Response from developer

We know this restriction bothers a lot of people. We are doing it to prevent the posting of AI generated content. We hope more cameras will support the c2pa content verification so we know it’s not AI. There are many apps you can upload content to but only one without AI slop. You can record as many videos as long as you want in the divine app and it saves them with content verification to your camera roll. The in app editor lets you pick and organize the clips you want in to a single video.

is not uploading video

i I was trying to upload videos it says not the arrow error and every time when I try to record it’s a freezing record right

Pretentious

Won’t even think about using until they allow uploads. Yeah I get you don’t want AI slop but disallowing uploads is the equivalent of hammering a nail with an anvil.

I’m so excited for its growth!

I’m a creator on here and I would love to eventually see an improved algorithm and perhaps more music/modern sounds added to the app. As for the algo and Fyp aspect, I am soley getting random braindump/rot or quick jokey like vids on my fy (which are definitely great 👍🏼 I’d just like to see more variety). I make slice of life edits and I’d love to be able to find creators and content alike mine. The search tab along with the categories like “art” are not updated very often and seem to be very loosely chosen for the category. It makes me wonder how hard it may be for others to find my content. It is a wee bit disheartening and has recently had me in the habit going on to post just to immediately log off afterwards, which Ik probably doesn’t help lol. All that to say I still think it’s full of potential and so grateful for its return. After these small improvements (that may already be in the works 🤷🏻‍♀️) it’s going to feel like a 26’ version of vine, which will be amazing!:)) Also love the no Ai rule. Follow me @Dingbat y’all 💐

Great… until i lost everything.

I love vine and have been looking forward to using this app. And it was great until i couldn’t see any notifications, it made me lose all my videos and i couldn’t even send a bug report. Hope it gets fixed soon.

Liked vines not showing in profile…

Loving this app but almost all of the vines I had liked from the past week or so just disappeared from the liked page in my profile yesterday, hoping to get them back.

Bug issues

It’s great to see Vine making its comeback, but there are few bugs occurring on the app and it sometimes make errors signing up for the app, so far it’s still great and it feels so good to be back on Vine after years and years.

So basically love it

I love the app ever divine love it so much i obsessed it lot i 5 starts since 2014 but now

Bugs

This is good but I can’t post my wi-fi is on but I can’t post fix this

Could use some work.

It’s very buggy right now and loads very slow. I think the app has potential, just needs to work on not giving me the same videos everyday.

No complaints here BUT

It may be time to get in a few updates? And maybe convince Twitter/x to get back the original vine logo and name back? For nostalgia sake

It’s good fix the numbers

So I made a vine and I went on to check on the video,it said I had 11 loops 1 like and a comment. So other then that its great. keep going!
