This platform is designed to serve dealers and not enthusiasts like it claims. It will bring low ball offers from dealers around the country. Even if you set a reserve they will approve it and then they will side with dealers to tell you the reserve was too high to help dealers buy the car below market after it doesn’t sell during auction. They will refuse to delete the listing after it doesn’t sell if the seller was private owner. However they do in fact delete listings to help dealers sell cars above market. Definitely avoid this platform if you want to not lose money.

Great app, needs iPad support
Please update to support full screen on an iPad. It’s going to look really bad on the foldable iPhone this fall if you don’t update it.
VERY IMPORTANT-
Hi I had to give this 5 stars. Basically the app isn’t loading. On WiFi with internet I open the app and it just loads with the Cars & Bids logo. I got the app yesterday (June 24) and I can’t get in. I have an iPhone 15 Pro Max. Please fix this.
Fantastic platform
Love this app, I’m on it constantly. Please change 2 things:
1) I need to re-login all the time. It feels like every week. It doesn’t affect a lot functionally, but is really annoying
2) persistent notifications on the island and Home Screen often don’t update when live bidding is happening.
And a quick feature request- please find a way for me to pick which auction I’m monitoring from the persistent island notification. Any customization on that widget would be fantastic. For example: Sometimes I don’t want the widget to reappear each time a new bid is placed if I’ve swiped it away. Maybe that can be a setting choice?

Good app, but stopped working…
This is an amazing app, so versatile but simple and to the point at the same time. Lets you find the cars you love. Recently though, my app has not been working. It’s been saying try again, and will never load the pages, only the notifications page.

Hey guys, love the app I scroll through it everyday. Only gripe I have is the year select when searching for cars, most of us are looking for 90s and up cars, it would be nice to have the drop down start from 2026 and work down to save me .2 seconds ofcourse. Also, had a question for the next Carpod- how often do you guys drive each others cars. You guys should also come up to Portland Oregon for quirky car spotting. Cheers!

Auction notifications in the Dynamic Island
The application has come very far, and I’m more thrilled than I was a few weeks ago with it. I decided to use the application more for my GTI purchase and the experience is actually really good. I think in the early days of the application I had a few issues and those could have been user error or not updating in a timely fashion, and now it runs and works flawlessly.

No real search options
I periodically rotate through some of my clutter and have used the traditional site but I decided to see what this app was all about but I’ve been greatly disappointed. The search options are extremely limited so I won’t be listing my cars here because without a proper search function I feel like my cars will be lost in a pond of other small fish and my M cars just won’t be found unless someone blindly stumbles on my cars because I see no way to search for a specific car

A website in an app shell
My biggest complaint is that if I don’t use the app for ~7 days, it logs me out. On iOS and macOS there’s a credential store called KeyChain, I am using username and password auth so they can issue a token, store that and never log me out!
The “app” is visibly a website, not a native app, and it hurts the experience. I know they are using react, but if you sprinkle some react native in there you can get a pretty decent experience!

I bought an iPhone so I could give this app a 1 star review for not existing on android. Stop being elitist!
Still not for iPad
Love the site, loyal follower of the channel - but Filippo, would you PLEASE make the app match an iPad resolution?? I appreciate that it looks great on my phone screen, but on an iPad it reminds me of any app in 2010 trying to stretch across the screen. Again, love you guys… I’m just guessing none of you actually own an iPad to see this for yourselves.

Need help signing in
The app used to work great but now when I try to sign in with username/password, the “sign in” button is greyed out. I can sign in just fine on a computer. Uninstalled and reinstalled the app but no change.

Your app overheats my phone for no reason. I’m using an iPhone 17 Pro so it should have zero reason to do this. This only happens when I use this app. Please optimize your app :) Thanks.
