Ah yes this app reminded me of the only three populated places in all of Australia; Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne. Nothing else exists in that wide expanse of nothing (despite the country being massive), it’s okay Perth isn’t real it can’t hurt you and as far as everyone is concerned Tasmania is a myth too. As for people that don’t live in those three cities (if you even exist) you don’t deserve their cars anyways you wild wild bush people how dare you. Sorry but I am not travelling 6-12 hrs just to get a car regardless of how affordable it is compared to the dealerships

Paid in full, Still no car
This has been, without question, one of the most frustrating customer experiences I have ever had.
I purchased a vehicle, signed all documents, completed the finance process, and even had the loan funds released. I was told the vehicle would be ready for collection on Friday. I arranged my schedule, travelled to collect it, and only then was informed that it was not ready.
To make matters worse, I was then promised that the vehicle would be ready on Tuesday. Tuesday arrived, and once again there was no vehicle and no proactive communication.
I called multiple times throughout the morning and was repeatedly told that someone would call me back. Nobody did.
The issue is not simply the delay. Delays can happen. The issue is being given dates that are not honoured, having my time wasted, and being left chasing answers after already paying for the vehicle.
At this point I have completely lost confidence in the information I am being given. Nobody can clearly explain what is happening with the car, why the promised collection dates have been missed, or when I will actually receive the vehicle I have already paid for.
What should have been an exciting milestone and a positive car-buying experience has turned into stress, disappointment, and constant uncertainty.
If you are considering buying a car from Cars24, be prepared for the possibility that delivery promises may not be honoured and that you may have to do the chasing yourself to get basic updates.
I would not wish this experience on another customer.

Safe way to buy used
We bought a car recently and were happy with overall experience. Car is excellent and pickup experience was great too. For us the 30 day return guarantee was important. It gave us the chance to have the car checked at a service centre. We appreciated the service history being available pre-sale, and the 300-point inspection.

Buggy as heck, text clashes, some functions just don’t work, I gave up trying use this app.
Staff don’t know what’s going on
Purchased a car and was offered $500 gift voucher for every referral. Never received the referral code. The staff member said my referee could just use my name. That didn’t work. Said they will call me back but no one did. No response to emails either. Poor experience.

The app is great n all but if I decide to put my filters in, example: price from high-low or year from high-low it doesn’t always show the vehicles in order and it’s randomised, please fix this, much thanks. If Carsales can do it, I’m sure you can too.

Unreliable, Stressful, and Disappointing Experience with Cars24
I had an utterly frustrating experience with Cars24 that has left me regretting my decision to purchase from them. I urgently needed a car due to an interstate move and clearly communicated this to their team. They assured me they could prioritize delivery if I paid in full immediately. Trusting their word, I paid last Wednesday morning, expecting pickup by Friday or Saturday as promised.
However, the delivery was repeatedly delayed, first to Monday, then to Wednesday, with no guarantee it would even happen by then. This forced me to scramble and rearrange my moving plans, causing immense stress and inconvenience. The delays were primarily due to their slow process for obtaining a Roadworthy Certificate (RWC), which they grossly underestimated.
The lack of accountability and poor communication from the Cars24 team made me feel misled and undervalued as a customer. This was, without question, the worst car-buying experience of my life. I strongly caution others to reconsider dealing with Cars24 if you value reliability and trust.

Possibly the worst experience I’ve ever had at a car dealership. Worst service. Spent two hours there only to test drive a car that I had made an appointment for that come out filthy and the imperfections were not on the report. Then was insulted with a trade value of my car after waiting 1 hour got them to do it. Disgusting service and money grabbing sales pressure. Stay away.
