First draft - needs further development
Appears not to have had an update for quite some time. Pretty rudimentary functionality. I expected more of a sense of realism with more sounds, and the storing of my cassettes visually in an authentic case or box. I’d like to see the ability for tracks to be listed on the cassette sleeve just as we did in real life. If the developer returns to this project and implements more authenticity, this could be a winner. For reference on a vintage player done right, see Vinyl Fetish.

I would give this 5 stars if they added a feature where tape on the reels decrease/increase as the song goes on. Itd also be cool to see different border options and not just the stock silver brushed metal look. VU meters could be cool too. Otherwise its fun to use this app in the car on my dash phone holder.

Do not get!!
I bought this looking for some nastalgia, and not only do you add songs individually, once you do, it just plays a random album or song you didn’t even add. Sometimes it outright refused to play a single song. And it crashed so many times. It ended up crashing my whole music library and I had to redownload ALL of my music one by one, because my iPhone didn’t recognize it as soon as I downloaded this app.

This app really is gold!
I’ve been looking for a cassette-a-like emulator for a while and this ticks every single box. It works with Apple Music seamlessly and having the phone on my dashboard in the car feels just like it used to with a tape player. I’ve got absolutely no complaints – I just hope that Alexander will add even more cassette options in the future! I’d be happy to pay a bit more for some additional tapes...

Fun Graphics, Handles Playlists!
Works well, authentic retro looks, good options. This updated app has ability to load a whole music playlist at once.
Tip 1: tap upper left, choose add playlist, then tap (+) button at top of list and it will select *all* the songs in that playlist at once.
Tip 2: try simple finger swipes to skip or repeat songs.
#RECOMMENDED
Tested on iPhone 8 w/ iOS 13.x

Grave error in interface
Great graphics, but the tape heads should be up when the music is playing, NOT when stopped, LOL!!!

I love this app. I’m only giving four stars for now until developer add streaming radio just like another cassette app I purchased. I don’t have much downloaded music since I started subscribing to Spotify and will make this useful. Keep it up!

Головки (воспроизводящая в центре и стирающая слева) выдвигаются вглубь кассеты при воспроизведении, а не на паузе. А стирающая вообще остаётся на месте, пока одновременно с кнопки Play не нажмёшь Rec. То есть, в этом приложении ей выдвигаться вообще не положено. А так, мне понравилось
