Great game
I started playing Castle Clash around 2013, and now it’s 2026. So I’ve been coming back to this game for about 13 years. There were times when I stopped playing for a while, sometimes even for quite a long time, but somehow I always came back.
The game has changed enormously over the years. There are now so many features, resources, upgrade systems, game modes, and currencies that it can sometimes be difficult to understand everything. But honestly, I don’t think you even need to understand every single part of the game to enjoy it.
For me, a big part of Castle Clash has always been collecting rewards and gradually improving my account. There is something satisfying about opening rewards, collecting resources from different events, moving from one objective to another, and slowly figuring out what you need to upgrade your heroes. There are also plenty of mini-games and events that keep you busy.
Of course, the game has become much more pay-to-win over the years. In some modes you will encounter players with extremely powerful heroes that you simply cannot compete with unless you spend a lot of money. But I don’t necessarily see winning every battle as the main purpose of the game. There are still places where you can win, places where you will lose, and plenty of opportunities to keep progressing at your own pace.
You can spend $5 or $10 here and there on bonuses if you want to, but you absolutely don’t have to. After almost 13 years, my account is only around 1.4 million Might while some players are already at 3 million or more, and I’m completely fine with that. I still enjoy progressing at my own pace.
One thing I do miss is the importance of the old Legendary heroes. With the introduction of Epic heroes and newer generations, most of the classic purple Legendary heroes have basically lost their role. Once you have upgraded them to a certain point, there is very little reason to invest more resources into them. I wish older heroes had more relevance again instead of eventually becoming mostly collection pieces.
Overall, though, Castle Clash is still an enjoyable game for me. It’s colorful, there is an enormous amount of content, and you can play it however you want. You should probably keep an eye on the current hero meta, but you can also simply collect heroes, increase your Might, play mini-games, gather rewards, and upgrade the heroes you personally like.
That’s basically why I still play after all these years. For me, Castle Clash has become a little like collecting Pokémon cards. I don’t need to have the strongest collection in the world. I just enjoy collecting things, building up my account, getting rewards, and watching my collection grow.

Potential
This game has lots of potential I’ve played and spent money for some time now. I want to see better UI changes, texture changes, and sound design. As it currently stands the game is extremely outdated and clunky. This game has many game modes to offer it’s very fun and addicting. People with money mostly benefit from playing this game. The more you spend the stronger you become.

L'arrivée du serveur classique pour repartir sur de bonnes bases est la meilleure décision prise depuis des années sur ce jeu. C'est clairement ce serveur qui m'a fait revenir, et franchement quel plaisir ! Revivre cette époque (l'âge d'or du jeu) avec cette fois-ci un suivi qui sera plus axé sur la facilité à comprendre les choses, la simplicité, la stratégie et l'écoute de la communauté c'est juste excellent. Si vous êtes un ancien joueur qui avait décidé de partir car le jeu n'était plus fait pour vous, ce serveur classique répondra à toutes vos attentes.

Aspect ratio
iPhone 16 is all messed up. Can’t even click on a lot of buttons and a lot gets cut out. If you fix this I’d be willing to give more stars

Castle clash is the best
I’ve played clash of clans back in 2012 to now in 2026 but I always hear about castle clash. I finally decided to try this game out and wow it is literally 10 times better than clash of clans. Literally addicted to this game lol
Bug fix
Anyone else not able to open the app without it closing on itself ?? I was playing fine before the update and then it just started crashing as it gets to 100% on loading screen. Love the game but this should be fixed .
Pay to Win
Potential to be such a good game, but its gone now literally requires $100+ a month just to be the same level you were the previous month. trash don't recommend
My oldest game
I have played this game for years but after the update it decided to delete my account resetting me back to the tutorial tho I had heroes of levels above 140 and hundreds of thousands of “might”

Updating the game erased all of my progress
Spent over a dozen hours on a save and then updated the game to fix a quest board glitch, only to have my save wiped.
My most favourite game
Well I played this game for a long time, and has been my favourite game and still is to this day. But the only reason I do not like this game is how bad the update has become to many upgrades to many things to care and loot its not how I use to enjoy because i still remember when i was young how I had to beg my mom or work part time just to be able to buy cool stuff in this game now It became u cannot play without spending atleast £100 to play the game its purely focused on people that got to much money and they can spend not for the people that actually enjoy this game. I hope one day they realise how bad this game become and launch same or similar game which focuses on pure gamers that enjoy the game truly shame how popular this game use to be and now not anymore
