Should be some more settings rules and cofigs:
1. A resource should not be next to it’s corresponding port.
2. Two resources should not have the same number tile: not 6 on two different rock tiles.
Just these 2 alone would go a long way.

Proper Value
It does what it’s supposed to and it’s aesthetically appealing as well. Couldn’t ask for more. Will have to explore the other parts of the app where you could use the expansion map or something…
This app is a most have
When dealing with how to setup a new board, it always takes so much time to actually make some “Random” escenario, with this app is very straight foward how to setup any scenario that you will need
Easy to use.
We have enjoyed using this to map out our CATAN board! Easy to use! Would love for you to add Cities and Knights options!
Great overall but 1 thing that’s not sitting right
This game does a great job of adding features to arrange the hexes and numbers to different game set ups which I love!
However an issue I’m having is that the default harbors layout isn’t as accurate to the game itself. I’ve played both the 5th and 6th versions of Catan (6th edition doesn’t allow you to customize harbors!!), both versions’ harbors don’t align with the harbor layout in the app.
6th: 3, wheat, ore, 3, sheep, 3, 3, brick, wood
App default: 3, 3, brick, ore, 3, wheat, wood, 3, sheep
Maybe the app is geared towards an older version of the game? Regardless, it would be nice if it has that option to select which version of the game you have or something that lets you decide how the harbors are set up!

Bug Report
I think there is a bug in Fog Island 5-6 players. There should be four pieces of number token 5 and four pieces of number token 4. Hower the app generates five pieces of number token 5 and three pieces of number token 4. This bug does not exist in the other sea fearers 5-6 modes.

1. When generated a new board with hidden land, could you show the amount of hidden field types, like: 2x wheat, 2x ore, 1x sheep,... And the hidden numbers, like: 1x two, 2x three, 1x four,...
2. Could show the recommended victory points for each board?

Need more flexibility
This works great for standard and 5-6 player catan, but when using expansions like seafarers, it does not provide flexibility to play to the rules outlined for each scenario. Needs flexibility to change types of land tiles being used.
Useful random map generator
I like how the app has maps for the seafarers expansion too.
App doesn’t work
Will be requesting refund from apple. This app does not work as advertised. No option for 5-6 players and no seafaring maps.

Great app
I use this whenever there is a board game night and Catan is on the menu. I add a little more randomness to it by rolling a die and hitting the “generate” that many pips. Would like to see maybe some of the re-themed ones on here also like Star Trek and Game Of Thrones. 👍
Exactly what you want
I play Catan all the time and always seem to waste time when setting up the board. We always want to randomly fling the resource hexes out there and play them where they fall, but always end up rearranging to make things more balanced, arguing over what should go where. This saves you all the wasted time. PLUS if you still want everything to be completely random, you can. It also helps you setup for those complex seafarer expansions that I never am able to make fee balanced. Amazing app.
