Widget Broken

The Home Screen widget shows the daily catechism question, but the text color is barely distinguishable from the background (dark gray on black) — completely unreadable regardless of whether the phone is in Light or Dark mode. This isn’t a system dark-mode contrast issue; the widget text stays the same dark color in both modes.

Also noticed the widget/app doesn’t respond to switching Light/Dark mode live — it only picks up the change after a full reinstall, and even then the widget’s text color doesn’t improve either way.

There’s no setting inside the app or the widget itself to change text color, theme, or contrast for the widget specifically. Would love to see this fixed — the daily question widget is the main reason I use this app, but right now it’s non-functional.

Great app otherwise and thanks for building it.

Best way for a daily reminder to study both the Catechisms and the Bible.

It helps to keep me focused on biblical standards and by using the references it helps me to better understand what the Bible is saying.

Excellent!
