I love this app for my adult rehab speech therapy patients. I use it with aphasia, TBI, Alzheimer's and dementia patients. They love it and so do I.

Great app for adults!
This is a wonderful app that I have use with nearly all of my adults. They enjoy the different levels of difficulty and being able to progress to more abstract levels within the same task. Always a "go-to" app that helps make therapy beneficial and fun!
Great App
I also use this app frequently in treatment, both with children and adults, depending upon the etiology. I glad you can turn off the reinforcers or sound, patient specific too. Please make a 'harder than hard' level too!
Amazing app!
I absolutely love this app for its flexibility and range of difficulty. I use it with both my pediatric and geriatric patients and I can't say enough about how helpful and versatile it is!
Easy to individualize
I have used this app to work on vocabulary skills with students who need to understand how words are related. I like that you can choose between easy, medium, and hard relationships and that you can make the task easier or harder by including or not including pictures. I would love it to have more categories!

A great app
This is an app that I use frequently in therapy. It is adjustable so it fits many skill levels. It tracks the data which helps me with my progress reports.
My go to apps
Therappy has the best apps and category therappy is not an exception. I tend to work with categories quite a bit in therapy and the ability to set up patients to work on this independently is nice. The pictures are appropriate and the categories are difficult enough to challenge moderate level patients. It is very appropriate for adults not childish like many apps. I have mended this app before and likely will again for families to buy. It is great for independent carryover or after patients are not eligible for future therapy.

I love using this app with my clients! It's great that you can choose different levels for clients who are at different levels. This is the first category app I've seen that is so versatile.
Needs more category options
This app has a lot of items, but I feel like the number of categories is pretty limited. Also, I would like it better if the 'medium' difficulty was a little more...difficult. When there are 3 pieces of fruit and part of a car, it's a little too obvious which one is excluded, but the 'hard' difficulty is often too hard due to categories being abstract.

I work with adults and kids and I love that I can use this with all my clients!! Very crisp and clean app! Tactus apps are great because they use real life functional images with a background free of distractions. Great data collecting and reporting capabilities!
great app! worth $$
I like the Category APp b/c it works on not only the receptive understanging of what the item is, but allows you to work on naming it as well as adding it to a group, identifying what doesn't belong in the group and adding more items to the group. You basically approach categories from many angles and can choose the level and the groups to include in the exercise. Great variety so that the student doesn't get bored easily.

Such a great app to use with stroke patients, especially those who may have intact cognition but are unable to demonstrate that because of aphasia.
