Hi! If you bought the Forever purchase before the new version, then it still works; all features unlocked, and your access is at the same level as the newer "Pro" level subscription--no delays, up to 30 seconds per broadcast, just like before. Additionally, when people see your pin on the map, they will see you as a gold pin! I'm sorry you feel that way! I wouldn't charge for the app, but the server costs to make it work require some level of pay. That said, we do give some level of access to free users. If you hold down your finger anywhere on the screen and talk, you can participate in the conversation. As a free user, you can broadcast for up to 10 seconds at a time, with a 10-second delay between broadcasts. Historically, giving free users too much access usually led to significant trolling in the system, and so for a couple of years, free users could only listen, but now I think we've struck on a nice balance, allowing for free users to be part of the conversation without necessarily dominating it. We find that most users who pay for the service are very happy to keep things civil, if a little spicy sometimes. The cheapest level of service is just $0.99 for 90 days, so it comes out to a tiny bit more than a penny a day, and of course, you can cancel at any time. This is actually way less expensive than before, where the cheapest option was $0.99 for a month's access, so we've tried to make it better. Try it out again; the app itself is pretty basic, but the people are amazing. If you want to join the community, I'm sure they'll welcome you with open arms!

I'm sorry you feel this way. The community is mostly welcoming, so I don't know what "one word" you got wrong, and I'm not going to ask. That said, all the regulars themselves are human and they acknowledge that people can make mistakes, so if you're interested in coming back and checking it out, and if you're not looking to start an argument, I'm sure you'd be welcomed back in.
