How Come I Can't Watch Any Video On Full Screen On iPad Or iPhone???
Hello there,
How come I cannot watch any of your videos on full screen on my iPad 6th Generation nor on my iPhone 13 Pro in the meanwhile I can do that on ABC News Los Angeles and CNN apps??? How come you guys don't take advantage of the iPad big screen advantage and quality as well??? Don't you guys have tech knowledge to do it in 2023 yet??? Last but not least, when are you guys going to have an app specific for iPad, isn't time yet???

Annoying to have to keep clicking “load more” just to scroll and look at the news. Delete.
Only as last resort…
The app need major make over - it features 3 news stories & then you have click for 3 more & never the lasted news, err! Not easy to read, I’m alway feel annoyed when trying to find a news story. Of the 4 local news app, they are not the worst - that honor belongs to KNBC channel 4, so bad I deleted from my device. The one I like best in format & timely news is KABC, channel 7 - although what they consider the top stories, to me, are a bit off.

Can’t watch landscape full screen
In addition to having to watching an ad before breaking news, watching full screen is impossible unless you rotate to portrait. This is the equivalent of having your cellphone in the wrong position during filming.
In addition, when a breaking news notification pops up, clicking the link only opens the app, but you still have to search for it. By the time you find it, breaking news is old news, you’ve missed the boat. 😡

Terrible App
How is it even possible to have such a terrible app for Los Angeles when your running two separate Great channels off of here? For one thing it is beyond annoying not to be able to read and view in Landscape (most people use iPads in Landscape), your videos take Forever to load or simply don’t load (I have no problem loading others), I’m not going on.
Kindly get a NEW App designer who will Give LA an App that represents us. Your coverage of LA is SPOT ON, Not the Fluff but Please not White.

The Update Made it worse
This use to be a good app. Last of its kind that doesn’t bombard you with ads.
Now they do and it’s worse.
They like to give you a 30 sec ad (which most apps do) but the part that Kills me is that the Ad Stalls and you have to reload the story. I wanted to see about a fire in my area and the ad stalled 3 times!! Yes I have WiFi with 200mb down. Should be enough if you ask me.
It’s not my connection, more like their app cause more frustration then I need just for 1 story.
I will be looking for other news app from here on out. Reloading ads over and over just to see 1 story won’t cut it with me. 😵💫

Video doesn't match the article
When I click on the icon to view the video that appears above the news article it's for the weather or trailers for the shows airing on CBS.
Missing something
You guys should really consider putting an option for watching the governors updates or watching live news. For example, when governor Newsom is giving his updates about COVID-19 you guys always tell us to head over to CBSLA to watch the rest, but what if we don’t want to watch the rest, what if we just want to watch the news and not the updates? We are forced to watch the updates, when some of us would much rather watch the stories that are being televised live.

Old app was better
The old app fit the iPad screen beautifully. The new app does not scale for the iPad...clearly written for iPhone users. Please don’t abandon iPad users or bring back previous app!
Meh...
Not being able to swipe right or left to the next story is kind of clunky and time consuming. I shouldn’t have to go back to the main menu to select the next story.

Crash much?
8/10 times this app crashes before I can read one story. Fix the bugs.
Needs a major upgrade
Every time I try to watch a livestream of news or just try to watch videos in general, the app crashes. I try to access a news headline, the app crashes. I don’t know if it’s my phone, but I don’t have any other problems with any of the apps on my phone except for this one.
Flawed app
Needs to be redone- very poor design crashes at startup rendering this app useless.

Not reliable. I open the app, click on a story or just wait till loads, and the app closes on its own.
Worst App Ever
This app won’t stay open long enough for you to even read the first paragraph of a news story! The old App wasn’t great by any means. Half the stories were weeks old but this new App is ten times worse. Why even bother, CBS? All this App does is drive readers to your competitors.
I had to update but yuck
It only appears as about 2x3 inches on my iPad and doesn’t rotate as do ALL OTHER NEWS APPS I HAVE. This is the worst functioning, most badly designed news app you could possibly imagine. It really should be rated as zero stars.
