Love the app. Would love it to be available for Carplay (remember cd changers?). However, it still needs some improvement as some cd’s fail to load at all. Why did it have to be Blink-182? But seriously, amazing job bringing that nostalgia back.
Great Idea, However…
I have waaay more CDs than the maximum that this holds when you pay the $20 fee. I like the idea though.

Thanks giving CD Wally a try, and I’m glad you like the idea. You’ve actually landed right on the whole idea behind it. CD Wally isn’t meant to hold your entire library, it’s the wallet you’d grab on your way out the door. Nobody ever hauled all 600 discs to the car; you picked the ones you wanted with you for that drive. The limit is the point, not a shortcoming. And you’re never locked out of anything, you can swap albums in and out anytime, so your wallet always reflects what you’re into right now. Thanks again for the support and happy listening!

This app is amazing! I really hope they add CarPlay support cause having the CD spin animation in the car would just add to the nostalgia.

I hadn’t listened to some of my favorite albums all the way through in years until I loaded them into this app.
Good way to listen to music
I leave it on my desk to play when working on long assignments. Better than whatever the Spotify dj is doing.

I didn’t expect an app to make me nostalgic for a zip-up CD wallet… but here we are.
CD Wally somehow captures that exact late-80s/90s ritual: flipping through plastic sleeves, spotting an album you forgot you loved, and committing to listening to the whole thing. No endless scrolling, no algorithm, no shuffle roulette- just albums, the way they were meant to be heard.
The visual details are really good. The discs spin up, the sleeves feel right, and the whole experience scratches that “digging through the car CD wallet on a road trip” itch.
What really surprised me is how it changes how you listen. Instead of grazing tracks, you actually rediscover albums again. Turns out the album format still works.

Old School Cool
Whoa! Didn’t know I need this virtual CD CASE in my life. The flipping of the cd’s is effortless and allows me to see and scan my music how I do with my REAL cd wallet, that’s pushing 35 years at this point! We need more fun in our lives and CD Wally makes my music great again! MMGA
Coolest CD player ever!
Ok, this is the coolest CD player I’ve ever seen. Well, simulated CD player. Anyway, it has totally changed the way I listen to music.

This app is pure nostalgia done right. CDWally looks exactly like a retro CD wallet and the attention to detail is fantastic. Tap a CD and it spins up and plays the album in track order, exactly how music was meant to be heard. The eye candy alone is worth downloading it, but the fact that it actually changes how you listen to music makes it a keeper. If you grew up with CD wallets in your car, this will put a huge smile on your face. Highly recommend!
