Celebrity Edge App
Canât access it from home. Keeps telling me to scan the floor
So cool!
I just downloaded the app prior to going on an Edge sailing and you can see the ship in your own living room! So fun. I saw a lot of reviews that it doesnât work but I am on Wi-Fi and allowed access to camera, location and Bluetooth and it worked great for me.
Not Usable on iPhone 8
My wife and I are considering a cruise on the Edgeâs new sister ship Apex and we were hoping to see the video âtourâ of the Edge as a preview. However, the app wonât play as it demands that location services be turned on. I have the most recent iOS on my iPhone 8, but Celebrity's app still only has audio -but video doesnât show.

Battery
This app is eating up my battery on my iPad and iPhone. Particularly background refresh and no way to turn that off. I would not recommend it.
Waste of time
Do not bother with this app, download it twice and itâs still wonât start on either iPhone or iPad. It keeps telling me to delete if not running and re download which makes no difference.
VR
A bunch of videos of people standing in my living room and audio recordings. Not exactly Edgy!

I would give zero stars if possible. I scanned all the floors in my house and got nothing. 20 minutes of waisted time!!!!
Dumbest idea ever!
Celebrityâs website, while graphically appealing, is information lite. Their ship information is nothing more than a deck plan (helpful) and marketing (waste of time). I canât get any of my questions answered!
I hoped this app would fill the gap. Inexplicably you not only have to be on the ship for it to work, you are instructed to point your camera to the floor for it to work. Presumably to determine location.
Obviously useless to plan a trip - my purpose. Even useful from my stateroom?

Downloaded this app with great anticipation. Whoever sold the company on making this app is the only one who has benefited. I will never get back the time I have wasted trying to get it to work.

ISO will not load this. Failure repeatedly. Fixed by hitting delete. Was worth a try but no luck.
Terrible
I have been trying to use this app and it is not working. The only things I can see are the âmagic carpetâ and the âbubblesâ. We are booked on this cruise for November, 2019 and really wanted to get the tour beforehand!
Horrible
The tour takes forever to load and then you canât see anything unless youâre on board. What a complete waste!
