Misleading App Store name
1. It’s called CellMapper in the App Store which is the name of a good cell signal and tower mapper. Once you download, it’s called something else. I’m ashamed I was duped into paying $30 I can’t get back.
2. It’s a worthless app that provides no real insight into signal or tower info. Any info you get is incredibly out of date, as well.

Not what I expected don’t show actual towers
Advertises 5G, doesn’t show 5G
It specifically states 5G in the description and then fails to deliver. Terrible.
The app is a piece of garbage and it’s completely inaccurate
It shows 15 cell towers within about 5 miles of me and I know it can’t correct it also shows an app a tower in my front yard and I know that’s not correct according to the FCC data the closest tower to me is 11 miles away. what’s worse than that is that I can’t get a refund for the pro version. Apple should take this app from the store.

Not worth the subscription
I wasn’t able to try the app without paying the subscription fee. Once I paid it and used the app I realized it wasn’t worth the subscription fee. It doesn’t provide me with the information I needed. It took me two seconds to realize it but I had to pay for that two seconds.

Doesn’t work without paying. No way.
No Free Option
Based on the app’s description, I assumed that there would be some basic functionality even without a subscription. There is no such thing - at least nothing that is obvious. All I can do is to tap the button that wants me to pay. You should just charge for the app itself, then I would not have been tricked into downloading it.

I know why people are mad in the reviews,
I thought I could use some basic functions for free. I assumed wrong. I could not do one single thing unless I paid $29.99 first. Not many people actually need this often. And, we don’t even know how good it works. I’ve had chats with Gemini before and it Apple locks down their hardware too much, and it can’t easily do what we wanted it to do here. On my not in use anymore Samsung S24 Ultra, this same app is free and can do exactly what I wanted it to do. A good reason for me to have a decent Android phone on hand.

Kostenlos nicht nutzbar
Fängt schon damit an, dass man die App nach der Installation erst mal abschießen muss, weil man sonst um den Kauf einer 35 € in App Purchase nicht herum kommt. Wenn man die App dann nutzen möchte, zeigt sie überall - selbst mitten im Wald - Irgendwelche 2G Standorte an, ansonsten nichts und wenn man einen der 2G Masten auswählt, muss man wieder 35 € zahlen. So definitiv wertlos, und ob sich das nach der Zahlung anders darstellt werde ich sicher nicht ausprobieren - auch schon weil es als unehrlich empfinde die App als ‚kostenfrei‘ in den Store einzustellen wenn sie so überhaupt nicht genutzt werden kann.

Don’t buy.
This app is basically useless. Maybe I should have known better, but a one-time $30 is way too much for the product. I would have much preferred a trial @$5 or so to see that it in fact did not give me any useful information. That would have avoided this one-star rating.

Not the real CellMapper
It's unfortunate that this ranks higher than the genuine CellMapper app and is polished enough to trick users into an expensive IAP to unlock functionality that doesn't actually work as advertised. I made an expensive mistake, I hope you don't.

Pretty familiar with what’s in my town and I know 100% there are not half the “towers” that are on the map. Waste of 30 bucks

Absolutely dreadful - seeking refund
Complete nonsense and an utter waste of money. As other reviews have stated there are scores of pins labelled with the cell technology that bear no relation to actual cell sites. It may be these pins are locations where cells have served a phone rather than representing cell sites but who knows. Feels like it’s been put together by a child and unfortunately that child now has my money.
