What's New in Version 1.2.4 This update makes Centimental available on many more devices: the app now supports iPhones and iPads running iOS 17 or later, and Apple Watch models on watchOS 10 or later. Attack Mute now works as intended. After each pluck, the needle briefly holds while the note settles, so you never see the false spike from the attack transient. Pick Off, Short, Medium, or Long in Settings. The note name still updates live while the needle waits. Apple Watch fixes • The watch now asks for microphone permission the first time you start tuning. Previously, a fresh install could leave the tuner silently unresponsive until you restarted the app. • The microphone indicator now clears properly when the tuner stops. Other fixes • Stopping the tuner right after unplugging a USB-C interface no longer restarts it unexpectedly. • If you use a custom reference pitch such as 432 or 442 Hz, the target frequency shown before your first pluck now reflects your setting instead of 440 Hz. • The Noise Gate and Strum Sensitivity descriptions in Settings now accurately describe how your settings are applied on the built-in microphone versus an external interface. • You can specify the channel if plugged into a multi-channel interface Happy tuning!
