About

Tessance is not a collection of levels. It is a course of study. The subject is light: fields of hexagonal glass lenses, each holding a measure of it. The work is bringing a disturbed field back to order. Every board is generated to be solvable and verified before it ever reaches you, so the only question is never "can this be done" but "can I see it yet." THREE DISCIPLINES, THREE WAYS OF THINKING Orbit. Tap a lens and the ring around it turns. Nothing is created and nothing is lost; positions simply travel. Orbit teaches you to think in arrangements. Pressure. Press a lens and it spends its own light outward to its neighbours; draw, and it gathers light back in. Full lenses refuse and empty lenses cannot give. Pressure teaches you to think in budgets. Tide. One swipe slides the entire field one seat along a chosen axis. Nothing can be fixed without moving everything else. Tide teaches you to think about the whole board at once. Each discipline walks the same five concepts, from Single Influence through Multiple Influence, Gradients, Reflection, and Regions, five studies per concept, seventy-five studies in all. Master a concept and it enters your Journal; return to any mastered concept for review studies whenever you wish. HELP THAT RESPECTS THE PUZZLE You hold up to three hints. Each one shows exactly the next move, never the whole answer, and a spent hint returns on its own every thirty minutes. Undo freely, restart freely, peek at the goal where one exists. When you struggle, the course quietly offers gentler practice before asking again. A QUIET PLACE No timers. No streaks. No lives, ads, accounts, or notifications. An original soundtrack accompanies each discipline, playable from its own player in Settings, and the whole game respects the silent switch. Your progress follows you between iPhone and iPad through iCloud. Tessance is honestly difficult. The boards ask for real thought, and understanding arrives the way it always does: slowly, then all at once. If you want a game that respects your intelligence enough to challenge it, this is the course. FREE AND FULL ENROLLMENT The first three concepts of Orbit, fifteen studies, are free with everything the game offers: hints, reviews, the Journal, the soundtrack player. One purchase, Full Enrollment, opens the rest of Orbit and the entire Pressure and Tide courses, including every discipline added in the future. No subscriptions, no consumables. ACCESSIBILITY Designed for VoiceOver, with per-lens values and actions. Full keyboard play. Reduce Motion replaces travel with crossfades. Increased Contrast, color-independent notch markings, and a numbers-only mode keep every state readable without color. Begin your study of ordered influence.

What's New in Tessance

1.0.1

Review at the level you choose. A concept's record now includes every study you have completed, not just the hardest ones. Open a concept, choose the level, and begin: the single ring you started on, or the three-ring field that finished it. Pressure answers when it refuses. A lens with nothing left to give, or a neighbor with no room to receive, now replies with a brief ring of light. Refusal was always part of the mechanic; now you can see it happen. Smaller repairs: • Music you paused stays paused when you move between Home and a study. • A hint's ring clears when you undo or restart, instead of pointing at a field that has moved on. • VoiceOver names Pressure's moves properly, pressing outward and drawing inward, and now speaks a refusal aloud. • A stray keyboard focus could quietly slide a Tide field. It no longer can. Now ninety studies: every concept grew to six, each one changing a single thing so you can feel what got harder. Revisit any level you have finished and pick up where you left off on another device.
