(a) Login screen button now appear above the virtual keyboard, (b) If pdf map loaded from URL, when viewing map, the "toggle" for street/satellite view is removed, along with any lat/lon coordinates associated to Live Maps, (c) If no Team Code and and chat message entered, shows notice, (d) If data/wifi is turned off and waypoint upload is attempted, app does not crash, (e) If data/wifi is turned off, app does not crash if GPS or Mark Waypoint buttons in home screen tapped.
MoreCERT Surveyor is designed for community emergency first responders to collect information and coordinate search and rescue operations. It allows users to map waypoints, create tracks, and manage map data.
The app's GPS feature may not work in areas with no Wi-Fi or data signals. For optimal GPS performance in such conditions, it is recommended to use a dedicated GPS attachment.
CERT Surveyor is available for iPhone, iPad, and iPod. The Wi-Fi only iPad lacks a dedicated Assisted GPS chip, while the Wi-Fi + Cellular version includes one.
Data collected in CERT Surveyor can be uploaded to the accompanying website and downloaded in KML, GPX, and Excel file formats. It can also be posted to ArcGIS Online Operations Dashboards.
Team managers and leaders can contact support@disastersurveyor.com to get their CERT Surveyor account upgraded for free to a Team Admin. This allows for managing team members on the website.
