They support racism and if you don’t agree with their racist views then they’ll not only insult and degrade you but also call for friends and have them insult and degrade you. It’s not a replacement of some sort or even an “improvement.” Just a place full of people who want to be accepted without discrimination of sexuality and genders yet freely criticize and insult you if you have one differing opinion and ironically they are racist as well. Funny, real funny.

Photo uploads painfully slow
In places where data might be on the slow side, photos seem to take forever to upload or simply… doesn’t. Like at least provide an error code or something!
I LOVE EGGE
I love this app - it reminds me of the internet before it went to... heck. It's free from the predatory algorithmic behavior of every other social media app, like the glory days of the internet where we were able to form meaningful connections with people rather than simply trying to force an algorithm to promote your posts. I hope they're doing enough to promote it because a lot of people could enjoy being here, if only they knew about it!

This app is a cess pit
Beware of the reviews saying “the community is welcoming.” It’s full of hyper-delusional and very psychotic people (I don’t mean that as an insult, I’m being serious) who are apart of an online cult that influences people to think that they are fictional characters (yes, really) and that aliens from other planets live inside their heads. This is the “welcoming community” you are stepping foot into.

No Latest Feed??
Everything about the app is great besides no latest feed for new users?? I can’t view things chronologically because you guys don’t want trolls but it’s fine to interact with a post from eight days ago? Seems a bit weird to me. But I’m not a new user anymore and am stuck to the scrambled and friends feed - kind of annoying and makes me not want to use the app as much because I’m not seeing any recent posts.

Only giving it 2 stars because of the cool people I’ve met on it, but the atmosphere is more or less a negative one rife with bullying and drama and the devs do not seem to care about user comfort in any capacity.

So I recently tried to log back into my account today, just to find that nothing would load. I tried signing in & logging back into the app. Didn't work! Then, I reinstalled it and attempted to log back in that way but I've been struggling to find my way back into my account and my alt. Am I banned or is this just a messed up glitch? I left this as 5 stars because I love the app still but I only used it for my inner thoughts, daily ramblings and fangirling, so pretty much I used it as my personal diary, as others on the app did. I don't know what I did wrong if I did get banned but is there a way I can make up for it?

Loved It but…
It was all fine, with each Dev’s like Sean, that posted and liked posts, felt engaging. Had hopes meeting great people there, Was better than Facebook, etc. It made me hopeful for the app, meeting great new people there. Two stars just for some people I’ve met along the way with great hearts. Can’t find old updates of Egge by Egge account, would like to search for people. One star for I was going through a bad day, especially anxious day, I lost a loved one a pet, closest to me, I didn’t like a few people attacking me over something I didn’t understand and just wanted to understand and I cared, and I just felt like uncomfortable. It is a good app and all, but very few that I knew stay on it, and posts that I share we’re starting to get less care, the whole age problem sucked too, where us nureodivergent people felt safe, as adults. I felt safe here before everything. Some teens ruined it too, I was a Teen once but I never joked about my age/never joked about being 10/11/12, etc. Posts I were clicking on that I felt to join or contribute because I was diagnosed with Intellectual Disability, specifically meaning my brain is slow to develop, sometimes I have child like mindset, maybe helpless on a child level. In a way, it was my fault to expect with hope, I understood it wasn’t going to last long, that it was going to feel clique high school level, yet we’re all adults here, except for teens joining in. I want to hope for change, but I’m not going to anymore, adding in that Yes I’m picky but I’m just about tired of the way good things change when they’re not broken, it feels like it’s all eating the happiness life out of me, I have enough of that irl tbh.

Good app, has devs that listen.
I never usually post reviews but this one is such a small app, I feel like it’s actually helpful. honestly love the app; the devs actually listen to the users which is a major plus. Recently they merged the minor and adult feeds; which I do not like. I think it’s better to just ban minors who lie about their age than punish all of the adults to see minors on the app. But other than that very recent change, it’s a good place with a kind community.
