Peis auf Leistung, nicht auf Schnickschnack
Zum Glück zahlt man 1000€ für ne Kühlbox und kann dann die App nicht mal mit der Kühlbox koppeln. Über Dometic Power und Bluetooth hats bei mir direkt geklappt. Da merkt man, dass die Firma das Geld in die essenzielle Technologie investiert hat. Die Kühlbox tut was sie soll, kühlt. Diese App hingegen ist nur für Kunden mit hoher Resilienz und einem gehörigen Maß an Frustationsbereitschaft geeignet. Außer dem Quick-start-guide habe ich nichts von der App gesehen. Jul2026

App nicht nutzbar!
Der CFX5 25 an sich ist in Ordnung, aber die App ist eine große Enttäuschung. Ich konnte den Kühlschrank mit der vorgesehenen App nicht koppeln und musste stattdessen eine andere Dometic-App nutzen. Dazu kommt, dass die App nur auf Englisch verfügbar ist. Für eine internationale Marke ist das einfach nicht akzeptabel. Insgesamt keine benutzerfreundliche Lösung und für mich so nicht wirklich brauchbar.

Nothing Fixed
I see others have complained years ago the app won’t connect via WiFi nor Bluetooth. Neither can I. Cmon Dometic, do better. Your products aren’t cheap.
Keine Connectivity
Man sagte mir im Laden Dometic sei vom Feinsten. Also hab ich den wirklich hohen Preis für eine CFX5 45 bezahlt. Und was bekomme ich. Eine App die nicht funktioniert. Unglaublich. Vielleicht muss ich doch auf einen anderen Hersteller wechseln, solange ich noch zurückgeben kann.

Use the Dometic Mobile Cooling app. It works great. For years I tried this app. Never worked.
Nice App
Nice app. Could do with on little feature if the fridge looses power it could send a notification to your phone to say that’s it’s lost connection so you would go check. Then it would be five stars from me.
Bummer
This app is absolutely useless, you can connect the WiFi to your phone, but you can’t even monitor it at all.
Pathetic App
As already stated App does not show connected by WiFi even though in the iPhone settings it shows connected. The Bluetooth search on the iPhone does not show the CFX cooler. Wasted over an hour or more. Support FAQ’s worthless
WiFi and Bluetooth don’t work
Trying to connect my CFX 95DZ to wifi or Bluetooth both fail. My iPhone 14 Pro recognizes and connects to the coolers signals, however the app doesn’t recognize the connection and stays stuck on “connection guide” as the only selection. Resetting cooler and reinstalling app made no difference. Stuck using manual controls on cooler.

You're all using the wrong app
For everyone that can't connect this to their CFX coolers, you need to use the Mobile Cooling app, not this one.
I just wrote a nasty review here echoing what everyone is saying about connection issues and then I found the other app.
Downloaded the Mobile Cooling app and it connected via Bluetooth to my new cfx5 cooler immediately.

App doesn’t work
What’s the point in having an app that won’t connect to the cooler? Maybe you should create an app that actually works rather than keep pushing an app that doesn’t work.
Not working
Tried to connect with the app. The app is not functioning. I would love what the app offers but currently it is not operational.
Keine Verbindung mit WLAN
Habe die CFX95, es lässt sich keine Verbindung zur App herstellen trotz vorhandenem Wlan. Ich nutze das iPhone 16pro max. Auch mit einem anderen Gerät funktioniert es nicht. Es wird auch nicht die Verbindung via Bluetooth angeboten. Die App ist stark revisionsbedürftig!

Not working
Downloaded the app, deleting the app. It does not get past step three.
Won’t pair
I won’t bother repeating what others have said. I’m technically proficient and can’t pair this darn thing. I’ve given up after wasting too much time on it.
Doesn’t Work
Absolutely worthless app that should be removed from the App Store. Steps to connect to wifi don’t make sense, app will not connect you to wifi and cannot get past setup when connecting to wifi manually through phone. Cooler bluetooth won’t connect either. Glad the cooler has a control panel because this app is worthless!
