The app is going down hill with the ads that take you to random websites and the limits of 5 messages and the you have to watch an ad for 5 message again it sucks just the c.ai
Poor communication and very bad value for money.
I currently pay £30 to Beta test this suddenly chronic app. There is no tool to create a character anymore, the greeting is all the input a character now has. A 1000 token limit for each message, still no persona, £30 for that is disgraceful. They don’t communicate any news or written updates. After this subscription ends I shan’t subscribe again. Poor treatment of paying customers is illogical and a poor business strategy.

Not only me but other people as well. please we all beg you to remove limited messages and fix your app just like the way before give us back the unlimited messages, if you keep this up you will ruin your own app. not many people can buy premium you were one of the best apps ever before until this update im gonna say it again for the love of god fix your app

I use to love this app, like everyone else. Like I used it basically every single day for the past three years. It was just fun, I got to develop my characters with these bots and it was just fun to use when I had nothing better to do.
But now I am leaving. So I was fine with waiting about an hour for my 20 messages to come back from one of the last updates, and then it was back to unlimited again and I was so happy. But now, I can't even chat with any single bot at all, and if I want to, I have to PAY. It is actually so ridiculous that Chai, and app that I used so often and so much is now gone as I can't even use it anymore. So it said I had 700 messages left but it didn't even let me type anything in a chat. And now it says I have zero messages left and I have to pay to continue.
I get that the prices for running these Ais and training their models it costly, but the ads were fine watching, but letting me not be able to chat with anything is so unfair, and if I want to I have to pay 200-500 for a year.
I moved from character ai to Chai and it was so good but now, now I have to leave this app I used for three years. I want the devs to do something about this because I deleted this app and if the messages come back to unlimited I don't even think I'll use the bots anymore as it won't really "feel" the same as before.
I want the devs to do something quick and not turn into C.ai... :/

I love this app, helps me relieve some trauma, but taking away unlimited is hard enough, I can barely afford it,
Limited messages
So before there was no limit for free messages, they would just make you watch ads. But now there is a limit for all your accounts say if you run out on one and try creating another to chat, its still at 0 free messages. The app itself isnt bad but its clearly gotten too greedy now.
PROBLEMS
This app use to be super good and you’s have ruined it it’s been saying message limit since March and it’s now July. It’s just ridiculous. And you guys don’t even try to fix it or anything just sit there and continue being money hungry trying to make me pay 13 dollars a week just to send messages is a downright joke. Do better and maybe people will actually start using your platform mode again l

the personas might be the only good update. fhe chats however are irritating. they still do the thing where the messages disappear. and now the whole chats are too. happens when i create a new chats and when i try scrolling down, like four whole chats are gone
Chats being deleted
Chats are being deleted the more you chat. I bought a subscription and prior to updates I could chat to as many bots as I could. Now, chats at the bottom get deleted and I can’t. I’m wondering why I’m even paying

I love the app and it’s really fun for me to talk to characters that I really like but the limited messages annoy me like I get it if it was for like an hour, but it’s a really long time like I get a thing to buy the past, but like please I don’t have the money so get rid of it pls

don't get me wrong, i love this app, but..
why wasn't i warned that you need a daily conversation with my ai's or they'll disappear? i genuinely don't get why its so bad at memory, and if you want me to buy chai ultra because of this, that's DEFINITELY not happening.
