In a recent update they added suggested tip buttons in the amounts of 0%, 10% and I think 13%… I couldn’t figure out why my income suddenly dropped by a couple hundred bucks a week until I noticed that people tend to automatically hit the middle suggested tip button (10%) where they used to either do the math or just say “throw another twenty on there.” I was averaging 20% tips when the only option was to manually input. Let me toggle those suggested tip buttons off or at least change their amounts.

Not sure which cards it works with, but the 2 cards I tried did not. Failed for two different reasons. One was CSV was wrong, but the CSV is 100% correct so no idea. Other failed for transaction declined, which I suspect issuer knows it is a stripe tap and pay on a phone and assuming it is fraud. Too bad, could be a good app and payment tool. Not trusted it seems.

Useless without a card reader
There’s an option to buy a card reader which I did and then you cannot connect it! Seriously what’s the point!

I have had this for about 6 months and I have never got my money do not waste your time
No provision not to charge GST.
So frustrating! I’m not registered for GST and yet Stripe automatically adds it to the sale. There doesn’t seem to be way around this.

Received an email to say tap to pay was available in NZ, but app says its not available.

I used to really like this app but they have gotten progressively worse. I had a $20,000 charge that I charged using charge Stripe and when they said they deposited the money to my bank account and the money is nowhere to be found I asked for help. They told me they couldn’t help me that I needed to contact stripe. I contacted Stripe and they said that nothing was sent to them from ChargeStripe
I don’t know about you, but I have a hard time when somebody messes around with my money and then won’t provide support and just wants to push me off on someone else. Do not use this app because no one will help you and your money will disappear.

Useful but fees are absurd
To give you an example, I had a transaction of £300 (1 payment) and £290.20 entered my bank account. £10 for one payment…
The app is good and useful for our needs but the fees are far too absurd to take payments with. We only use it when we absolutely need to. Otherwise for 99% of payments we use other methods.

Horrible app
Why does it take three separate apps to conclude a transaction? first, there is charge stripe, which makes intuitive sense,However. you have a separate app called Stripe and then an app called Payment. Why do you need three apps to get your money? I tried to get my instant payout and I can’t get it. I previously had a bank account, but I closed it and I don’t know how to delete it or change it, as far as customer service, there is no direct contact.

This app is a scam 100%. I’m still owed 2300 dollars from this app. My account was deemed “risky” after I sent them all the documents they requested, and the money was suppose to be refunded to my customer. The money still hasn’t been refunded to the customer and the app keeps saying “tomorrow” everyday now for 2 weeks. And magically the link to call them has disappeared from my account. And once I read the reviews I see this is a common problem ,too bad I didn’t read the reviews first.

Come on Charge Stripe, catch up to the times. Your competitors allow contactless via iPhone, no additional hardware! Been using this app for a few years now, time you updated to inc contactless, as now i'll be looking at your competitors who do.
