Doesnโt sync with my Apple Watch
Iโve had this app for almost a week since my friend invited me to the first 2 days, it synced with my Apple Watch. The past couple of days, it was showing me about 3K less in steps. Today, I was on the treadmill for 40 min. I checked to see if it was updating and it literally changed before my eyes. At one point it said approx 8,800 steps then it changed to 6,400 then it went up to 7,500 all within seconds. However, my Apple Watch was showing 11K. Too bad thereโs no refresh button.

UPGRADE AFTER TOWNHOUSE
Hello Ms. Jeon,
Allow me to begin with my deepest admiration and gratitude for this app, which has so profoundly transformed the lives of my friends and me. Under your guidance, our little Charlie town has flourished beyond what I ever could have imagined. It has expanded and blossomed, becoming a beautiful testament to the power of discipline and collective accountability.
Everyone is hitting their step goals. Everyone is exercising restraint with their donuts, spending them only when it serves the greater good of the house. We have worked so hard, Ms. Jeon. So very, very hard.
However, I fear that we have reached the end of our journey. It appears that our beloved town can no longer be upgraded past Townhouse. I must confess something to you, Ms. Jeon. My friends and I were once fat. So very, very fat. This app has been our guiding light and our last defense against the temptations of our former gluttonous lives. Without the promise of a new upgrade, I worry we will slowly descend back into the darkness. Our step counts will dwindle. Our fat rolls will multiply. Our Charlie Town will crumble.
Please, Ms. Jeon. I beg you. Do not abandon us at Townhouse. Keep my friends and me healthy. Keep us motivated. Give us something to strive towards. GIVE US AN UPGRADE BEYOND TOWNHOUSE BEFORE ITS TOO LATE!!!!

Change in number of steps needed
I like this app. But 10,000 steps isnโt really beneficial. Itโs just a myth. Thereโs studies that have been done that at least 5000 steps is good for gains. 7000 steps is also another sweet spot. Wish I could adjust the step goal though so itโs more achievable.

I love using this app to motivate myself to walk more throughout the day! Also was very cute to gather up donuts to upgrade the houses until we maxed out with our townhouse๐
Now that my friends and I have upgraded to the townhouse and now, thereโs nothing left to do with the donuts? It would be nice if we can buy things for the house (i.e accessories like Christmas lights, house pets, challenges within the house, etc). Or even if there was a way to build a town (i.e. parks, shops, other buildings). My friends and I have been starting to wonder what we can do now with the donuts because we are not ones to splurge on the clothes/accessories and was moreso using it to keep upgrading our home but now we have nothing to do.

The app is very well made, though I wish it could be used offline so that steps can be counted without connection.

Walking Charlie Review
I like the app, however, it chooses random days not to track any steps at all despite all other step apps, such as the general fitness app, will count steps for the same day. There seems to be no way to correct this.

Itโs an amazing app and Iโm currently LOVING it, I js personally wish it has more daily goals that would earn you points to make it more engaging like a game. Iโve watched many of my friends stop actively trying to reach the goal as it is mainly milestones over a few days/weeks as opposed to daily objectives.
However, overall an amazing app with really a cute mascot and clothing options. (I love the donut point system). Thank you!!

Got my friends to join!
I really enjoy the camaraderie you get when having a group of friends just tracking their steps. Before it felt fun on my own, but itโs better now with a small feeling of competition.
Originally i was trying to look fot an app similar to my companyโs walking challenge after it ended. This one is much more fun with dressing up the character and daily goals.
One piece of feedback i guess I would have is possibly more daily/weekly goals. I feel more motivated when i see a new one popping up right when I complete oneโโI guess Iโll do 1500 more stepsโ.
I think i saw one recently for the weekend as a push goal, if you had more similar I think itโll help more people like me that enjoy the mystery box prizes

I cannot express this frustration! The app keeps logging me out and it wont let me sign in - says my account doesnโt exist? I had to make a second account and lost all my outfits and donuts. And today my second account got logged out and wont log in again!

this is literally the best app ever omg !! the only problem i have is that it's so unrealistic and went from being severely obese to very healthy in like 5 days ๐ฅน๐ฅน but its so cute and i love it sm. 100% recommend
very good app, just one minor issue
this app is very good motivation to get your steps in. i just wish you could connect a fitness watch to track ur steps too so that it counts that.. my charlie is very obese when he should be at a healthy weight bc i donโt carry my phone everywhere. other than that, great app!

My bf and I got randomly logged out and now we canโt get back in. We tried signing in but itโs making us start all over again by making us create a new account which would mean losing all our data and outfits. This sucks.
