Why am i punished by capitalism?

i’ve had this app since it was just a big file of all of the different calorie options at restaurants. I used it religiously. The app was free there was no subscription. It was glorious. Now after an update all of it is gone. I’ve been here since the beginning now i can’t use the app cause the owners wanna make a buck hell no.

Response from developer

Cheat Day has been free for the past 7 years, and we’re very grateful for your support. Unfortunately, the AI boom has significantly increased server costs, and inflation has made those expenses even harder to absorb, so we’ve had to move to a subscription model. Thank you for being part of this journey.

Only App that sorts nutrition

cant live without it, i have diabetes and this is the only app i found sorts by sugar, such a helpful app

wish i could pay more to support <333

Not a free app anymore

Downloaded the app after reading some reviews saying the app was completely free…IT IS NOT FREE! It is free for the first 30 days and then you pay $25 a year.

Granted, it’s not a bad price to pay if it works the way they claim but it would’ve been nice to know upfront vs after I’ve already downloaded the app.

I will be deleting the app solely based on the bait and switch.

Exactly what I needed!!

It is very difficult to eat out when you are on a low sodium diet!! This app is a lifesaver and lets me know there are some options out there for all of us low sodium people!!! Thank you!!

Used to be amazing

I have had this app for about 3 years, and their new version where it makes you pay just because it’s “personalized” is ridiculous. This was something I would use just to quickly make choices about what to eat and helped me lose weight! Now I can’t use it bc they’ve gotten greedy. Stupid.
