About
Pause before you click, pay, or share personal information.
Check Before You Click helps you look for common scam warning signs in messages, screenshots, and website addresses.
FREE BASIC CHECKS
• Paste a text message or email to check for common warning patterns.
• Choose a screenshot and read its English text on your device, then review it before checking.
• Examine a website address for cues such as misleading brand names, shortened links, and unusual address structures.
• Understand why a warning appeared and how to verify the claim independently.
• Learn practical scam-awareness habits and access official reporting resources.
PRIVACY
No account is required. The app does not send your checks to us or create a saved check history. The photo picker may create temporary image files on your device. Screenshot recognition and message checks run on your device. Optional external help links open only when you choose them. An optional Google site-status check shares only a hostname after confirmation.
KNOW THE LIMITS
Results identify patterns, not proven fraud. Some scams will show no obvious warning signs, and legitimate messages may trigger a warning. Website checks examine the address only; the app does not visit submitted websites, scan downloads, verify a sender’s identity, or consult an integrated live threat database. English screenshot recognition can misread text. Always review the extracted text.
When unsure, open the organization’s official app or use a phone number you already trust. Never treat a lack of warnings as a guarantee of safety.
