Disappointed!
I have been using this application for years, but it has become completely unresponsive since the interface was altered.
I attempted to reinstall it, but this proved unsuccessful.
Is it due to the fact that the imperial system is not utilized in Canada?
Alternatively, is my iOS configured to operate in French?
I am uncertain; however, I intend to promptly locate an alternative application.

Loved the app. Hate the update!
I used to use this app regularly to calculate the proper tip. However, after the recent major update it has become an absolute pain. I used to be able to tap on the pre-tax amount to enter the correct number and it would automatically adjust the tax percentage. Now I have to go into settings and guess the tax rate. I NEVER see the tax rate printed on checks, so it’s a long round of trial and error.
Bring back the ability for us to enter both pre AND post tax amounts! I can’t just set the rate and forget it since it varies wildly here in this state depending on what you order.
Saw the developer tell someone else to put 0% as the tax rate and enter their pre-tax total, but maybe just bring the feature back?!

Easiest, logical and quick. Great interface. Latest update was fantastic and it looks great. I highly recommend this app.
Font Size
I've been using this for a long time, but the font size in the updated version is too small. I need an option to change it.
Over a decade of no problems
Free app. Does exactly what it says. No excessive ads. I’ve had this for years now and it recently got an update?! AMAZING. They don’t make em like they used to.

However, Sorry to say, but the new version is not calculating the total Tip or doing the proper “rounding” when the Tax is included or even if it is excluded, like in the older version.
Could you please take a look at that ?

Not correct
The app updated and it is not working correctly. I have it set to tip after tax. The app still added tax.
Never should have updated
This update is terrible. On the old version I used to be able to adjust the tax amount because it’s different from city to city. Now I have to go into settings to change it every time. I never should have updated this app.

I've used this app for many years and was so glad to see it updated. I like how I can now add my own custom tip amount. Keep up the great work!
New UI needs some tweaks
I have been using your app for several years and I always use it to calculate my tip to round the total to the nearest dollar. Super happy! Just a couple suggestions for the new UI. Need a reset button or something. Once you have a full amount entered the delete key doesn't seem to work anymore. I have to kill the app or hit the settings button to reset things. Also as mentioned the round total selection doesn't survive a app reset. Kinda annoying. Look forssyto your improvements! Thanks again.

Not the same app anymore
When the server brings the check it has the tax already calculated and the different tips to choose from so why recalculate the tax which is different in every county?
The app should take the total and calculate the different tips !!!

Useless after 10 Years
This app has been on my phone for over a decade. It’s always just worked. But with the most recent 5.0 overall it’s useless.
Adding ads, sure I get that. But why change the tip percentage scrolling so you’re forced to use a fixed fee percentages? Delete button only works half the time.
But the worst change is to the tip calculation methods. Why am I forced to enter a pretax total for the calculations to be accurate? I am already putting in a tax rate, I should be able to just enter the check total.
Please, please, please roll back this version until the bugs are worked out.

Hey mrmrk77, thanks for using the app for that long! Delete button fix is on its way, along with a Clearr button to quickly clear the amount. It was mentioned in another review about the calculation and I will get that taken care of as well. Look for an update this week. I appreciate the feedback and don't hesitate to email with more suggestions or changes you would like to see.
Love this app
I have been using this app for years. Makes it so much easier in figuring out the tip. In the past version it remembered your preference as to if you wanted to round the tip, or total or neither. This version seems to default to don’t round each time it is opened. On the plus side, the old version always held the cost of the last bill forcing you to clear it before calculating the tip for the new bill. This version no longer does that! Now if it could just remember my preference to round the tip. Only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5.

V5.0.1 Don’t update !!!
If you liked the previous version… you will hate the update… They removed the tip wheel/slider … Now there are fixed buttons for the tip percentage… The app used to remember your settings, like round up balance … Now it doesn’t… Overall not as useful as it was… I’ve been using this app for years … sad I’ll be replacing it…

Fix the delete button
Fix the delete button, it only clears the last digit entered instead of the entire amount.

Very small and simple app, but very useful.
Using this app for years
I bought the Classic version so I would not have to see ads. It’s not available anymore but I do see the Lite version is still in the App Store and it addresses feedback I should have submitted long ago. I’m going to give it a shot!
