I feel like the gift I got and now planned to use 3 years later because COVID, it closes during translation…….scam perhaps?

I have the cheetah talk and every time I talk into it to translate it to the language I want it shows me the language and then closes the app so I can no longer see it only for a few short seconds so is basically useless at this point
