I LOVE CHEK NEWS
I USE THIS APP MORE THAN SPENDING TIME WITH MY FAMILY IT I DI SEE THEM CHEK IS ALWAYS ON THE TV
I DISLIKE CHEK NEWS
SO MANY THINGS WRONG WITH CHEK NEWS
1) THEY DONT MODERATE THEIR ADS (I have been scammed about 53 times now)
2) THE STORIES WASTE MY TIME
3) FATHER ALWAYS WATCHES IT AND TAKES THE TV FROM ME
4) THEY GIVE ADS THAT SCAM YOU (I took a iq test they suggested, when in reality it wasted my time about 20 mins and WASTED 2 DOLLARS)
5) I HATTEEEEEEEEEEEEE THIS APPP AND THE PEOPLE WHO APART OF CHEK NEWS (ed Bain is the only good person on Chek news)

most useless app ever
what the HECK are the stories???????????????????????? no one cares about these DUMB, useless NEWS, like WHO the HECK cares about bc ferries GENERATORS failing? Not me, for one. I would be better off getting my news from the NEWSPAPER!! Like what? The NEWSPAPER?? and also, these DUMB popup ads are driving me NUTS!! Overall this app is straight garbage. A friend of mine is on this dumb, poorly made app, more than he spends time with his family! THIS APP SUCKS!

more than half the time the newscast won't stream
Bad. Delete. Need I say more..
Really dislike the pop-up tabs at the bottom and the constant ask to turn on my notifications. Glitches. In a sea of news apps, it becomes the little annoyances that add up and make one pick a new app. Get rid of the annoyances please.

Had to delete
Links from news stories on google load in this app, but they don’t actually load the story, just the main page of app. Appears to be no way to say use website instead of app.
Casting broken
Suddenly after working well for a year, when live casting to the tv the app drops the broadcast after about 30 sec. Can only watched recorded shows.
CC won't Turn Off
You can't turn off the closed captioning on the iPhone. When you tap off it does nothing. The old app was better.
Sketchy Pervasive Ads
App is not useable. Ads pop up that want you to download “software”. These ads cannot be closed. Hard no for me. Not safe for any mobile users. Apple should remove this from their marketplace.

Can’t watch live news on the app anymore
Not user friendly
This app is just the website but the links don’t work when you go into the side bar. Not even sure what the point is other than the main page.
It’s fairly unpleasant to use
Can’t decide if it wants to be a website or a real app. Basic tasks are difficult or annoying. The gold standard for news apps is Reuters. Just copy them

Used to work fine. Just blank now.
Local news access
App works 👌 perfectly. Nice to have direct access to local news through the day when listening to the radio, etc isn’t available.
New App
I can’t get anything but a blank page. It’s terrible! I can’t even give it a one as I can’t see a thing.
