Hire a UX designer

Little things like adding the instructor’s profile pic to the class, keeping the name of the instructor on the class in the history tab, and showing a person’s credits would improve the experience. Take notes from Equinox and Orange Theory Fitness

Great navigation

Easy to navigate

Works for me

Simple enough

Haptic Touch Menu

The class schedule filter doesn’t really work and would love the option to right click/Haptic Touch directly from the icon into a different section of the app—like Schedule or Dashboard—without being blinded by the full-brightness check-in screen.

Scorched irises

Please give the user the option to choose the start page. The Check in page displays a QR code at full brightness regardless of the time of day and it will burn your eyes out. People use their phones in the dark and open the app to book classes. We don’t need to see the QR code every launch.

Schedule often out of date

The app doesn’t update the club schedule unless you force it to quit and reopen. So when booking a class the # of people on the wait list is wrong if you had the schedule open recently. It changes the brightness of my phone if I just open it to look at the schedule. Somehow I’ve booked into recurring classes and have no idea how to change that.

Horrific App - Great Gym

Chelsea Piers Fitness as a gym is fantastic, but the app is horrific and stuck in the late 00’s. If they spent as much time on their app as they did on their locations, this app would be one of the better gym apps.

Hire a new app developer or outsource the job to a more qualified third-party developer.

You do a great job addressing all of your members needs, but this app is a need that appears to be overlooked.

It’s 2023, please invest some money to rebuild the app from the ground up.

Love CP fitness

The club is amazing with an incredible team.

Doesn’t open

For the past week, every time I try to open the app it quits immediately. I’ve tried deleting and redownloading 3x now. Please fix this!!

Doesn’t work

With the new software update for apple. The app doesn’t work.

Redesign is terrible UX

The user experience of this app went so downhill. It wasn’t great before, but it’s terrible now. All navigation crammed into a side menu. The one good feature the app used to have is that it would use your location to send a push notification with your QR code when you were close to the gym. That’s gone now. Who designed and built this? And who at CPF leadership thought it was acceptable to ship?

For how much money I pay for a monthly subscription, I’d expect much better.

ok app, needs updates

Opening the app maxes out your phones brightness and then it STAYS that way and you have to manually reset your phones brightness, needs to be fixed. App has some loading issues and needs better filtering and search options

Great improvement!

This makes it super easy to search for classes and filter between days, clubs, types, etc.

Not great

Can’t filter schedule by a particular class

Not a fan of the “improvements” the gym has been making. Most of it is just change for changes sake … without actually making things better.

Terrible UX

How many times have they tried to create a working app??? Too many, someone needs fix this and another person or team needs to get fired. The app is garbage, plain and simple.

Bad Design

The gym is great the new app design is terrible. Needs to be redone.

Bad to worse

The last app was bad, you weren’t wrong to change it. I’m just very surprised you somehow made it worse

New design is trash

The user interface on the new app is trash. It looks like no thought was given to the brands look and feel. Just packed with a ton of options.

This app is a wreck

No, just no. Not user friendly. Unappealing to they eye. Font is tiny. They really think they did a good job?

The old set up was much easier to use

Wish it hadn’t changed…
